Honestly this felt weirdly validating for me. As a woman who grew up with an ED and the "size 0" stupidity of the early 2000 I was constantly called "too fat." Then fast forward nearly a decade and now I'm apparently ugly because I'm "too thin." The kicker? My weight is nearly identical to what it was when I was in high school. I've gained a little, but I'm working out and eating healthier so I can have a body I'm proud of that isn't unhealthy. I wasn't fat then and I'm not skinny now. I'm pretty sure I'm just average. For a group of people who seem to want to "break down cultural norms," the "body positivity" community seems to love enforcing the same awful petty rhetoric they preach against, just in the opposite direction.

I’m just gonna say this. While there are some oversized people who have health issues that make it harder for them to lose weight, those are the same people who will chose the healthier options because they already have a health condition and don’t want to develop more. It’s the people who don’t care about their health that get so worked up when they see people who do. Me personally I have a really small appetite and don’t eat a lot and I also don’t eat a lot of unhealthy food because I have a history of health issues in my family. Cancer, obesity and diabetes so I work hard to make sure I’m a normal weight and size. These people obv don’t.
