@@izzyash2031 Obesity leads to higher risk of disease so they put a strain on health care which is socialized (to varying degrees) in almost all countries. I'm disabled but I still manage to exercise, control my eating, and not be obese. Obesity is a problem for 1st world countries. They have so much luxury that food is the least of their problems.

Yes,we deserve the same respect but if you're gonna call names I'll do too especially if you call names thinking you're superior when you really aren't.
Honestly this felt weirdly validating for me. As a woman who grew up with an ED and the "size 0" stupidity of the early 2000 I was constantly called "too fat." Then fast forward nearly a decade and now I'm apparently ugly because I'm "too thin." The kicker? My weight is nearly identical to what it was when I was in high school. I've gained a little, but I'm working out and eating healthier so I can have a body I'm proud of that isn't unhealthy. I wasn't fat then and I'm not skinny now. I'm pretty sure I'm just average. For a group of people who seem to want to "break down cultural norms," the "body positivity" community seems to love enforcing the same awful petty rhetoric they preach against, just in the opposite direction.

Yeah being a “plus sized” model is hard, but so is eating over 5,000 calories a day. Oh and I put “plus size” in quotes because calling her “plus size” takes away from naturally muscular women with big bones and a healthy amount of fat. She’s not one of them.

@@VulgarRage my point is that “if life being a whale is so hard, then why not divert some time and effort away from the mountain of food they’re eating to something positive?” Getting that big takes years of seriously slobbish eating, a normal person would feel sick or be disgusted with their appearance. It’s legitimately hard to get morbidly obese, but it’s because of a complete lack of discipline or concern and not from following a path of success

I now exercise when I can (cant due to work) and willing to lose the belly fat. I think Hayley not only showed how insecure she really is but also used her rudeness towards the other girl as a defence mechanism. Most plus size people use to deflect from other to not get affected what other people say about them. I'm not saying what Hayley did was right or excusing her mean girl behaviour as I felt bad for the other girl.
