They never should’ve stopped making that bike. I can’t believe that in 2016, I went to my local Kawasaki dealer and they happen to sell Suzuki as well. They had one that was a 2016, brand new and priced to move. Suzuki had rebates that brought the bike all the way down to $7499. I actually slept on it and thought about it and lost the deal. Boy did I kick myself in the arse for that one. I should’ve picked that up the second I saw the $7499 ticket hanging from the handlebars.

My gixer gives a nice burble when coming off the gas and I love it. Definitely a fan of the burble here 😊

Yoshimura full system and P-08 air filter is a nice combination the fit finish on the exhaust looks excellent

I have a 2020 Katana, and I believe this is the exhaust I’d choose if I was gonna do this work to the bike. Looks great, classic name, sounds great, and massive gains up-top.

Yeah, I have the m4 and it's supposed to take that dip out, but it's a little loud, plus I like the looks of the Yoshi better. I do have a quiet insert for those long rides, though, which helps.

I dig the lopey cammed out sound. Also prefer the burbles over the pops and bangs, but would go with cutting the fuel on decel. Someday for my busa.

I have this bike, I've had it for a month now, it came with an aftermarket fuel adjuster under the seat (which I've not touched, yet) I absolutely love the bike. I'll be getting a tune somewhere in the UK next year at some point

I would prolly take off the fuel adjuster, and put the hoses back to where they should be, before you get it tuned. You shouldn't need it with a proper tune 👍

The stock actually doesn't sound too bad compared to many other stock exhaust. But new exhaust looks way better and sound much better

I personally like lope sound cause I’m muscle car guy. But I absolutely hate pop and bang tuning. I was taught this was always a clear sign you didn’t know how to tune your car or build your engines growing up. But hey just what my old man taught me being a master mechanic and machinist and race engine builder 😂

That’s strange because at the AMA races at NJ motor sports track I witnessed professional motorcyclists with bang and pop tuning. I guess the whole AMA are just amateurs and inferior to your father. But what do I know, I’m not as smart as you guys.

As long as the AFR is right at idle, and everywhere else, I don't mind the "lope" at idle. On my 1250 I think it sounds pretty awesome and once the bike is warmed up it's less pronounced. As far as decel fuel-cut; I'm a "no burble" kind of guy.

Personally I like it without the burble. Good power from it 👍🇬🇧

I like the burrble sound but maby it's because a ride an old Gixxer 750 Srad with carbs and it got that with pops nad bangs with just a aftermarket can on it 😅

2008 busa does that with a Bazzaz ( not tune by you for better or worse) I lie about those big ass stock cams when it idle like that

I think if a sound characteristic has any bearing on performance or smoothness of acceleration and engine operation then the question isn't worth asking.

With the power these bikes make with a good tune, I wonder if they really are any different than the original K5 engine internally? Kind of doubt it, I think Suzuki just neutered them with the air box restriction and mild tune. And yes love lopey idle my old KZ has Web Cams in it

20 hp less. No titanium valves,cast pistons. Suzuki did all they could to save money vs the k5.

Ok so how many hp did you really gain or get

Got to give Suzuki some credit. For a stock exhaust. That thing looks pretty damn good. I just bought a Kawasaki concourse 14. Now that’s an ugly stock exhaust. In the Kawasaki ZX 10 isn’t much better.

Still need to test a new GT. I suppose no one has $$$ left to spend.

What full exhaust/air filter/tune would you recommend for a 22 gsxs 750? I asked in other places and was told to sell it and buy the 1000. If i wanted the 1000, i would have bought one. I love this 750...just looking for a little more power and sound.
