Not many people have heard of the 2023 GSX-S1000. This upright bike is a BEAST in it's class. This particular bike is coming in for an ECU flash. It came in with a full M4 GP19 exhaust system and an aftermarket airfilter. As always, the M4 comes with a silincer DB Killer, so of course, we're going to remove that and see if there is a difference in power by doing so. We'll run a few base lines so you can see what the stock gsxs horsepower is and compare that to the custom duno tune. The GSXS FI light will come on when you change out the exhaust, but by doing a custom tune, we can remove that light. This goes for multiple types of motorcycles. On the stock ecu, there's a very apparent dead spot. you can feel and hear it. The custom ecu flash on this GSX-S1000 removes that and opens up that hidden power.
Is the GSX-S1000 a good bike? We think so. Other things you may be wondering.. GSX-S1000 mods, GSX-S1000 exhaust, GSX-S1000 stock hp, GSX-s1000 dyno tune. Anwyays, check out the video and let us know what you think of this motorcycle tune!

I got this bike in 2022 (european version). Got a similar air filter and a full exhaust from black widow and wen to reflash it to a local shop near me. Even the guy was impressed by the graph on this bike, so smooth an linear. Went from stock 149HP 118NM to 169HP 124NM. Spectacular performance from the engine tbh

I had a tuner send a pre flashed ecu for my crf 300l and that worked really well. I don't have the bike but im thinking of getting one and selling my old k8 750 for the riding position .

The updated model runs smaller TB's, milder cams. Top power is down about 8-10 hp, and 4-5 ft-lb. Suzuki claimed it's for better midrange, but that's "marketing speak" for "we actually can't pass Euro5 with the old setup, so we are forced to do this."

This is a heavily restricted bike - due to the regulatory requirement by the Japanese DTO and national transportation insurance mandate (same goes for MT-10 and CB 1000R as well). If you want to fully blow it, flash ECU (Yahagihara Custom has ECU from hell and back), and Yoshimura outfit, you should get about 20 more horses...or even more depending on your set up.

Who knows if the M4 header design is actually that good. Brock's Performance makes header systems for certain models and they usually run a much larger than OEM I.D. for better flow. Exhaust companies have limited R&D depending on what model they are selling for. That means not ever single model is going to have optimal flow. This M4 muffler is obnoxious. So little baffling.

The gsx-s750 is also restricted from the factory. I have a 2022 gsx-s750 and a 2023 gsx-s1000gt plus... both are restricted in the ECU. The s750 is limited to 9k in 4th, 5th, and 6th. It isn't all about power either. A big part of it is driveability. It is going to go faster, rev higher, throttle will be smoother, powerband is smoother, it isn't lean anymore, ect. It will definitely feel more powerful and faster than stock and make riding it much better. Running lean is not good at all. They do it for emissions. Euro 5 crap.
