Fantastic story! The only correction I would add is that this is not the only case where a person has literally died of fright. Dying of fright is actually a well-established phenomenon that has happened to many people. It's when a big enough surge of fear causes the brain to release a flood of adrenaline, which in high enough amounts causes cardiac arrest.

There was a white woman a few years ago that “died of fright” when she tried to use voodoo to target her black best friend. It was a very popular story at the time because her Twitter account was still active and she showed a picture of the voodoo doll she used just a few days before dying.

The floor at the top of the stairs is not the ground. Not even the ground floor of a building is the ground. It's still a floor. Sure, the ground and the floor are synonymous with each other, but there is also a distinction. I'll accept it as the ground, but if you go higher up, say, the second story, there is no ground, only floor. I am in the flooring business. That's why I take it so seriously. It's not enough to make me unsubscribe, but it could do the storytelling some good to increase vocabulary and use more distinct words.

I only a youngster and I was put in a police cell in the original Bow Street Police Station and I was sitting in the number one cell when all of a sudden I heard a young girl crying for her mother, it started faintly, it got louder and then it started faintly again and it just stopped, mama mama that is the only word that I heard mama, I got let out of the cell and I said to a police officer, why did you lock that little girl you should’ve put her in my cell, he just looked at his friend and looked straight back at me with shock and horror on his face, and then he said, what little girl Steve so I told him what I had heard, and he said no Steve, you heard the ghost of the Bow Street Cells and then he told me the story of this poor little girl, in the late Victorian times a mother was found stabbed to death in her kitchen and the bastards blamed the young girl and they put her in the cells in the number 2 cell and apparently she died of a broken heart and the last person to go into that cell so say died in a mental hospital, and the cell hadn’t been opened since the mid 1950s and when I heard the poor girl it was in the mid 70s, I’ve been spiritual all my life since my childhood, when you go into a police cell you have to take your shoes and belt off because you can hang yourself with either of them but, when I came out of my cell, I honestly made a conscious look on the floor of the next but it was slammed shut and there was no shoes or nothing outside so it was just left shut until it was knocked down or transferred into a hotel believe it or not, but one positive thing came out of it all the bastard that killed her mother was actually her father and they hung the horrible bastard, so he stabbed his wife to death and was hoping that they think it was his daughter and he just let her die in those terrible conditions, it’s just unbelievable but, it’s a very tragic and true story, I just wish I could’ve done something for her but I couldn’t I’m very sorry to say. Have a great new year from Stevie boy in England.

Listening to you helps to keep my mind off everything I've got going on. Wedding planning, buying a house, work place drama with my boss constantly being passive aggressive, etc. We currently have no work and I am fighting hard to stay awake, lol your voice is super soothing and the way you tell these stories is mesmerizing. Thank you so much for what you do. It's wonderful. Ive been watching you since I first stumbled across your videos when they first started getting longer. Probably would have been sooner, but i avoided tiktok as long as possible.

theory here. what if the building had a gas leak somewhere that caused hallucinations and weird dreams? the gas leak was slow coming for the basement, but when the floor came up so did a bunch of gas? the gas made both women pass out and made hannah die. it wouldnt make sense for multiple reasons but its just a thought.

  • @ItzLegends06

I mean yea that could be possible but it doesn’t really add up to the fact that they were fine with the basement when it was day time but the moment it was night then it got worse. It just doesn’t make sense that a gas leak would be more effective and a specific time of the day and consistently that same time of the day. Most likely what happened is they were so scared to enter the basement at night because of the past noises, their fear manifested itself into what they thought was in the basement (a ghost)

She told me of a Confederate army group that buried boxes of gold and guns under her house in a dream she had, I was the only one she told this story to. Years later I realized her house was behind and almost adjacented to the Confederate arsenal that was destoryed in civil war! She had not been educated in the civil war history of Fayetteville North Carolina, and did not know there was a arsenal half a mile from her house.

The spirit told her it was the restless soul of Elizabeth Johnson, murdered by her nephew, William Dawson, on 26 March 1722 and buried deep beneath the cellar "watery grave". The final message was, "The garret and the cellar are now marked with my blood." Had to do some real digging to find the report. Mr Ballen left alot of things in this story.

I doubt your life is anywhere as bad as life in 1800's Sheffield, but its possible, so remember that struggle forms character and pressure can and does make diamonds. Peace and best wishes from Ireland, we are diamonds taking shape x

This was actually frightening. The ai generated ghost pictures sent chills down my spine, I'm still wondering on how hannah had died.

Adrenaline overdose. Her heart was already stressed because of the hormones grief generates and a sudden adrenaline dump from fear can cause ventricular fibrillation which is a heart attack.

It really wasn't. Great story though. Propably just heart attack. They couldn't find trases of blood flow drama at that time. It's hard today even. It's just a story and basements are scary. I've had 3 heart attacks and I'm 40 and healthy. I don't get scared so my body recovers because I stay calm. I know I don't propably see my 60's but I would surely be dead if I believed in ghosts or anything supernatural..

AI generated anything is terrifying. The humanoid bots that are hiring lawyers to obtain identities/wed/have babies/conversate with each other/and reproduce, the pictures/movies/music they can create and emulate, and the access and control they have to dangerous things like communication and weapons is all so very scary. It's as if the movies were foreshadowing, especially the parts about humans creating it, not heeding any warnings, letting it get out of control, and then not being able to stop it. But I sound like a crazy doomsday conspiracy theorist when I say that.
