Im 77 and had a similar experience when i was about 8. The man was probably a college student and spoke to me with an accent i couldent understand. You and i were lucky and smart. I think of him often and wonder what he was saying to me. There was no one outside in any direction and it was winter so windows and doors were closed. I ran to nearest house and pounded on the door. When i looked back he was gone. He had been running toward me. I guess if u survive u have a purpose.

As a graveyard shift security officer posted at an open train station, I’ve had one of these unnerving feelings. Funny enough I was listening to MrBallen at the time, but the unsettling feeling would not go away. After my patrol routine, I would just post up in a spot I can see 80% of the site, but my back was faced towards the side street. On the other side were a couple small businesses with gated security and beyond the gates was pitch darkness. I’ve never felt anything like it in the 3 years I worked there, it just happened randomly and was just on edge the rest of the night. Thanks to this video in particular, I will always look over my shoulder when feel uneasy.

3:00am is the demon hour. According to biblical accounts, Jesus Christ’s body finally gave out and died at 3:00pm in the afternoon. The demonic forces enjoy perverting everything Christ like and anything considered holy by inverting it. So the hour of Christ’s death at 3:00pm is now 3:00am which has now become the demonic hour. That’s why 3:00am is such a deadly time to be awake and why so many paranormal things occur at that time.

Once when I was young (my brother and I were messing around with my uncles compound bow) and once on a white tail hunt as an adult (we had someone in the group that didn't understand not to draw the string unless they were sure there was no one in the brush ahead of them). I'm not shocked that he didn't find the projectile. Arrows can fly far beyond where they are aimed if they miss. I've lost countless arrows in the woods despite knowing the angle and direction they were traveling.

@@fancifrance4039 I’ve had a sense of dread or where I sensed something would happen. Once when I was taking my mom to the ER due to a fever and she was on chemo we were in a storm and it was late at night. For some reason I told my mother that I could smell a tornado coming and it did come. It was an F4 tornado/waterspout (was over water for a couple of minutes making it a water spout). It was devastating and caused a lot of damage. One other time I had that same sense and a cluster of tornadoes hit. I’ve lived in Florida half of my life and only those 2 times did I sense it and only those two times did they hit. Also had a sense of dread in 2016. Told my family something was going to happen to me by my birthday which is in December. My birthday came and left and my family surprised me with a visit including my sister from California. On December 19, 2016 exactly 7 days later it hit. I was diagnosed with severe sepsis that nearly killed me and I was hospitalized for a month. My health isn’t in good shape so I’m used to frequent hospital stays but this one was within hours of being fatal without help. Spent time in the ICU as well. I tend to listen to my gut and I go to the ER when it’s really nagging and I have symptoms. Has happened several times and I would find out I had severe pneumonia or whatever. It’s definitely a gift and it should be listened to. My alarm bells have been going off the past week or so and I’m having that sense of dread but with COVID I am not in such a rush but I’m afraid it will get me in the end if I don’t listen to it

ooo this reminds me of another personal story. Years back I was living at my parents' house, which is on a hillside with a bunch of undeveloped land behind it. There was a fire road on top of the hill that I used to hike all the time. I'd try to bring our dog up there on occasion but it always seemed anxious and wouldn't go down the trail unless I really yanked him along. One day I went up to the trail to do some jogging, but then it started to rain so I turned around and start jogging home. My shoe became untied and I bent down to tie it, and there in the fresh mud next to my foot was a mountain lion print. It had only been raining about 10 minutes and I had just passed this same section of trail probably 15 minutes before. Never saw the cat but after that I was on hyper alert every time I was on that fire road. I probably should've packed pepper spray or something but at the time I didn't realize how dangerous mountain lions could be.

Actually there is a electromagnetic grid that envelops all of us that we cannot see naturally.... And since our mind is electrical we can actually tap into this grid.... That's why when you feel someone that has bad intentions towards you that's because we are all connected on that electromagnetic grid... And if you don't believe me that's how lightning tracks you it literally pulls up your bioelectrical energy up towards the sky then it connects with a circuit of your bioenergy and then you get struck.... Everything in our world is made of energy anybody with the most basic understanding of physics should know this.... So when someone sees you and has bad intentions toward you you're going to pick this up.... Some people will call it psychic energy other people will call it esp but all it really is is natural electromagnetic energy that envelops your body and connects you to the surrounding energies.... That's why you get literally like a spidey sense is tingling sensation.... And paranoia is an unreasonable and ridiculous fear so for example paranoia would be thinking that Napoleon is out in the darkness and he's got a cannon and he's pointing it at you.... That is paranoia.... It's an unreasonable unnatural fear....getting the feeling that you're stalked is not unreasonable or unnatural....

It was summertime and because of the foot traffic and bugs we went at 11pm. 10 minutes into our ride we stopped to drink some beer when we heard crunching of twigs and leaves. This park is very lush and forested and you can’t see past the tree line. My friend turned on his flash light and aimed at the blackberry bushes, and standing not 10 feet from us was a cougar. All 3 of us started waving our flashlights and singing at the top of our lungs (we were listening to bohemian rapacity on a Bluetooth speaker) and mobbed out as fast as we could. The irony is that earlier that day I was in a different section of the park and saw a sign saying (cougar sighting, beware of walking alone).

The things I've learned from all the Ballen stories are don't ever go camping, hiking or into isolated areas alone. If the offer sounds to good to be true, then it is. If you feel like you're being watched trust your indistincts. If you think things are being moved around your house someone is probably behind your walls preparing to kill you. If you take up scuba diving into under water caves you will eventually die. As someone with an anxiety disorder, I can only hope that my "someone is watching me" instinct does not feel the same as the general feeling of impending doom that I feel several times a week. My mom says to trust my instincts but how can I do that when my instincts are fried? She went to a gas station when she was an older teen and someone got in line behind her. She had that feeling MrBallen describes. She didn't turn around, but paid for her gas and left. She noticed the other person got into their own car just after she got into hers and he proceeded to follow her down the street. She kept making random turns but he kept following her. I forget where she went, but she made it to a payphone and called the police. Turns out the guy had multiple warrants for sexual assault.

  • @no_peace

Yeah "trust your gut" isn't really helpful for like 40% of people But also I think it's possibly more important to train yourself to assert your needs... Like the old elevator example, whether or not you feel anxious getting in an elevator with a stranger at night in a parking structure, don't. Don't get in either way lol. But you have to have some skills to be able to just turn around and leave if there's someone in there. It's really awkward and they may pressure you. People often do things they don't even want to do, and they're trusting their gut, but they don't know how to deal with negative feedback from other people so they go along with it and suffer (Also i know sometimes it's dangerous to say no, too, but that's a whole other issue)

I have anxiety and I’ve also been in a life threatening situation. When I was 12 I was almost kidnapped. I had to walk along a long secluded road from my bus stop to my dance class, most of the time this was fine, but one day I heard a car coming up behind me but it was *slowing down* and I was hit with the most intense feeling. Hair on the back of my neck stood up, my stomach dropped, and i instantly felt WIRED. Something was WRONG and I needed to get out so I jumped across the ditch by the side of the road and ran up the hill and hid behind some parked cars in a used car lot. As I ran up the hill I heard the sound of a sliding car door shutting and a car accelerating away. When I looked it was, I shit you not, a white van with all the windows blacked out turning the corner by my dance school. It was one of the most terrifying feelings of my life and completely different from the way my anxiety feels. My anxiety feels sick and queasy and I feel mired and helpless. It’s a sticky fluttery feeling. When that car came up behind me the fear was sharp and cold.

We were driving down the road one evening and got into an argument in the car,so I told her to pull over and let me out.I was going to walk back home. So I got out, walked across the road and started walking in the opposite direction. She then drove off. As I was walking along,a car passed me and then pulled over to the side of the road just ahead of me. Two guys got out of the car and they each had a pipe in their hands and they started toward me. I stopped and knew there was nowhere to go and it was going to be a fight for my life. There was no time to be afraid. But then, unknown to me,my girlfriend had turned around and came back to pick me up. She pulled along side me and opened the passenger door and yelled at me to get in.She turned the car around and sped away from there as fast as she could. She was very upset by what she had seen and of the thought of what could've happened to me had she not turned around and came back for me.

With sever anxiety it actually a remnant of human life before we settled down in to many civilizations. We where hunter gathers. People who where hyper aware were better at protecting themselves and hunt food. The highnt anxiety isn't bad it just means you are overly aware BUT when you truly are in danger your body will physically react more then just the internal feeling of dreed and doom. For example I was in a sever car accident more then once. I felt it getting into the car all the way up till right before we ended up in the ditch. Hair standing straight up my throat was tight and I was nausea my self. But my mom didn't listen to my complaining about turning back and going home something was wrong or missing

I remember one time when I was walking in the woods when I was younger. I felt like I was being watched. I walked out early with a shotgun to hunt inland birds. My father came behind me later on the ATV. We were both on our way out of camp back to the truck to go home. My father showed up and asked me if I saw any coyote. There were tracks all around my footprints. The coyotes up here were also bread with wolves so they're kind of different.

Ignore the stuff that can't hurt you, if you know how to use a gun, carry it if you feel you may need it, after all you are safer to have a gun and not need it, then to not have a gun and need it. Live a good life, use common sense when out and about in the jungle, forest, or major city, if you can always travel with a friend, better yet travel with a girl friend, they are much nicer to have along if nothing happens, they also give you the drive to protect them, it's part of nature, built into our lives as it is. That’s usually how horror movies go...The main character gets a bad feelings says “hey, maybe this isn’t a good idea,” their friends laugh at them and convinces them to go on anyways and in the end they all die. 🤷🏽‍♀️

That gut feeling, discernment of spirit, or whatever you want to call it, has saved my life several times. Particularly when my late Ex, had me setup for a hit. I went to pick her up at her best friend's house, where her friend said she's in the back... everything felt wrong, so I told her friend to go get her. Found out months later she had a hit man laying in wait with a 9mm. If something feels wrong, it usually is. Stay strapped, my friends... it's a dangerous world.

It’s so bizarre how you can just feel eyes on you. There’s no way you should be able to know but somehow you feel something that makes you uneasy. Despite there being no real logic to it everybody knows what it is and what feels like. I’ve never really sat down and gave it much thought but it’s a very intriguing concept. Edit: ngl didn’t think this comment would get any attention since it was kinda just a random passing thought it thought I would share but it’s pretty cool it got the ball rolling on a nice discussion. Cool seeing so many peoples views on this topic so thanks for the interesting input.

I don't know this for sure, just my thoughts on it. But, I think it is because our eyes see something that we didn't consciously register. Like you scan a tree line and didn't see anything but then you get the feeling that you are being watched. I think its because you saw something in the tree line watching you but it didn't click in your mind. Like when you are looking for something right in front of you, you physically see the thing but for some reason it just doesn't click in your brain.

You don't feel eyes, you feel the presence of another person or animal. It's a subconscious reflex. Our brain can detect minor changes in the general environment around us that we interpret as someone or something in that area.

I believe it has to do with knowing that you are vulnerable or are in an area where you can be easily seen. Maybe also hearing incredibly faint sounds like rustling leaves or sounds that queue a thought of "something is near."

Ngl I like to test this on people sometimes and stare at them from a distance to see what sort of behaviour they examine and honestly I haven’t had any reactions that can confirm this yet I still believe it … mind you my intent was never sinister so maybe if people are staring at you harmlessly it doesn’t trigger any instincts or feelings

There are many stimuli that we process unconsciously. For example people who went blind because of a damaged visual cortex (the eyes still work but the brain cannot process it) can still recognize aggressive facial expressions and feel fear because of it. That's because before the nerve signal from the eyes is processed by the visual cortex, it is processed by a small structure that is there to detect hostile intentions and that is completely unconscious. And even so they can't see anything, they can feel hostile faces which is amazing.
