yonsei university sk global house single room | dorm tour
hello friends!!
it's been almost 3 months since i last posted a video, time flew so fast that it's already 10 days until i leave korea and go back to canada!
today's video was highly requested, which is a dorm room tour!
if you are watching this video because you're looking into sk global, feel free to comment below any questions you may have and i'll do my best to answer them!
here's some info i thought would be useful:
- how much did it cost? → i paid $2700 CAD for the whole semester (4 months)!
- what's the application process like? → extremely competitive, make sure to have good wifi!
- what do you get when you check in? → aside from linens? absolutely nothing lol
- do you have a curfew? → nope! but if you're staying overnight somewhere you need to let them know!
- what do you do for meals? → i like to cook every now and then, otherwise i eat out at restaurants here and there or get kimbap and salads from the convenience store!
- how do you do laundry? → there are men's & women's laundry rooms with washers and dryers, but you need to buy your own detergent and such
- is it far from the main campus? → it's only about a 10-15 minute walk!

Do you know if room607 faces the courtyard or outer view ?
Is it allowed to have a kettle ?
How do I get a single dorm? Can we decide for ourselves which dormitory we want? Or has it been determined by the campus?

hello! it's not allowed to cook anything inside the rooms, but you can use them in the communal kitchen! and the fridge is included in all the single rooms, double rooms don't have fridges inside!

How much does one pay per semester? (How long is a semester and how many semesters per year are there? If one tries to stay at the dorm for the whole 365 days, how much would one has to pay?) Thanks for the video :)
