Yokohama Geolandar X-AT | Great hybrid tires for large trucks.

Here is a review on the Yokohama Geolandar X-AT. I like the Geolandar X-AT a lot and at it's price point, it offers some real value for hybrid tires. This Yokohama Geolandar would be great for 3/4 and 1 Ton trucks. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Have a set of these on my lifted Colorado 7 (265/75/R16). Absolutely awesome both on and off road is all I can say. Outstanding in deep mud and good positive control in all terrain. Best tire I have had yet.

Got talked into a set of these over the Falkens. Love my rig but love these tyres more. Bit of a rough ride unloaded, but that’s life. Performance is just perfect for a weekend warrior. Attitude on wet road is fkn brilliant! 👍

Watched your review of the Yoko MT003 and had the best ride on my 4Runner ever. I have a GX now and I was going to go with the KO2 but my gut and mind is telling me stick with Yoko. It rains a lot here in southern VA and the KO2’s give me slide sometimes. Even in 4WD in snow. Falken MT just was just loud and stiff. But Yoko has always been good to me. Time for my 3 rd set I see. Great job with your reviews. I even put a set of the Continental DWS on my 16 Civic. Now those are going to go on the ‘19 Civic.

I've put 30k+ miles on my 33inch set, and they have worn very well (about 12mm left). I've abused them hard on off-road tracks (sharp rocks/gravel/bushland), sometimes without the right pressures, due to my laziness at times to be honest. Never had a puncture or any damage. I love them. I'm upgrading to 35inch version of them now, I trust them to be just as good.

Hello Matt! I'd buy these tires if only they were made for my size (265-60r18). I'm looking for something that has an agressive look, good for wet conditions, but I want to keep the sound level as low as possible... I have couple of models in mind, Nitto's ridge grappler is a contender, Falken wildpeak at3w, goodyear duratrac and maybe the BFGKO2. I live in Canada, I have a dedicated set of winter tires, 3 peak mountain is not mandatory. What would you suggest? I know you're not a fan of Falken, but they are much cheaper... that being said, which model would provide the best bang for my money overall? If you have any other model to suggest, be my guest!

@@CampusautoCo The ridge grappler sucks in wet weather and you keep suggesting them. Want to go with either MT or XAT geolander and you keep bringing up the grapplers. I have a lifted 7" , mega cab and need 37"s though they even look dinky on this truck. Which one is it going to be for best all around 80/20 on /off road? Oh, and in Colo were we get real weather. 10,000lb truck, 37x13,5x22's, some towing, love aggressive look. Love Toyo MT but also suck in wet weather. Most 3 peaks only come in 12.5. Don't make the grade for this truck.

one of the worst tires i have ever run. terrible in snow, wore terribly, zero traction on wet pavement from a stop, down right dangerous on ice. would never buy again. tread profile is way to round with super stiff sidewalls causes the center to wear out quickly or the edges to wear out quickly no matter the pressures. i had high hopes for this tire.

Hi Matt, Thanks for another great video, I was hoping it might have the 3 peaks for use as a snow tyre aswell, is this not the case, I am from the UK and travelling around North America in my truck camper, my truck is based at my Dads in Toronto, I will be heading south to Nashville in December, I like your videos and I have learnt a lot and would like to bring my business to you, My question is the following:- Is it cheaper to buy tyres in Virginia US, than Ontario Canada? I was thinking after taking your advice to get the BF Goodridge A/T KO2 - Thanks Amanda

Thank you so much for your kind word! I think the price would dependon exchange rates so Im not sure where they would be cheaper. I would probably get them before I left Canada. The K02 should work great for you. You can also consider the General Grabber ATX. Both are 3 peak mountain snow rated.
