Yoga for Parkinson's Disease: Breathing Exercise (Pranayama) to slow the progression
Parkinson's Disease is a progressive neurodegenerative movement disorder. So far we have not found any cure for it. All the known treatments can control symptoms mainly by replenishing low Dopamine reserves.
However, Lifestyle changes can help you to slow the progression of the disease.
You can continue with your ongoing treatment along with advice given in these videos. If you have any specific issue please consult Movement Disorder Expert (Parkinson's Disease Specialist).
There is a substantial role of Meditation, Exercise, and Yoga in slowing the progression of the disease. Some modifications in diet and supplements can also help you. It's important to take good care of gut health.

These exercises are very helpful! Thank you 😊
This is an excellent selection of Pranayama exercises with accompanying explanations. I have been doing yogic breathing for fifty years and although I do not have PD, I contracted a virus five years ago (GBS) and have peripheral neuropathy, which responds to my continuing practice. I appreciate very much that teachers around the world are sharing this knowledge and cannot understand why anyone would dislike this, unless they are misanthropists, generally!
Thank you very much
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nicely explained. Thanks a lot
