Mind those tiny connectors, some pull up, some pull out, some need unclipping before pulling out. Most will come out easily if you are doing it right, don't force them.

Is there any trick to disconnecting the volume button cable? I can't seem to get it loose and am on the verge of damaging the soft covering.

There is a slot in the IO board that I thought it had a missing part, but I see that is a free slot, what can I put in there, at first I thought it was the wirelessly card that was not working, after I found the small wifi card I'm not sure to find one Anatel 5g, is there a way to install inside another type of WiFi card 5g instead of using an usb, I really love this machine because I have it since 2012 and it's great! Excellent channel by the way.

I know this is old, but I think you are referring to the mSATA slot for a second SSD.

This doesn't make sense. You take the keyboard off then put it back on and magically the whole cover has been removed and the battery is exposed!? What did you do?

Exactly. I don't understand this video. Why did he put the keyboard back on? What tools does it take to open the bottom panel. Mine are not Phillips head. Looks like Torx screws.

Yes, TORX screw - T5. I recently ordered a complete set on Amazon for under $10.

I think this video is a series of independent clips from a repair guide made by the manufacturer. Each clip shows repair engineers how to do a specific task. They have been glued together, you need to look through to find each bit you need - it's nonetheless very useful. It helped me replace the motherboard successfully.
