@@tourmii I was talking with a friend about it and we both agreed DYWTYLM was the weakest song by a little way and honestly after hearing the song again yesterday, if THAT is the lowest point of an album, it's something special. Insane stuff. That idea of liking every single song is true but it's also 100x more impressive on such an eclectic and avant-garde playlist than for most bands that will have most of their album filled with a similar general sound/tone.

vessel is one of the most thoughtful writers going right now, everything is written with intention, dude is on god level and the bass growls make that stank face

In my opinion Sleep token is way more than just music you listen to. It’s music you experience! Everything they do appeals to more than just the sensation of rhythm. This pushes the boundaries of music. It transcends them!

the summoning, chokehold, vore, the apparation, all songs you should check out from them that all sound super different from one another. Sleep token a different breed, would love to see you keep peeping them

Maybe I'm aging myself a little, but I haven't been this perfectly enamored with entire albums/band since the beginning of A perfect Circle. They don't do the genre blending, but they have a way of just wrapping you up in pure emotional bliss. Sleep Token comes in on a while new level, though.

same reaction when I first heard , I felt like I discovered fire for the first time or something.

I feel like sleep token was really made for reactions. This is not a band you can fully appreciate on the first listen. It’s got so much depth, but that first experience presented in such a way that it’s not overwhelming to take on all the moving parts and it leaves you wanting more.

Dark Signs is an older song from their first album but I still jam it every day. That song is not as experimental as this but it's definitely a vibe. Sick reaction btw
