First concert was Chuck Berry, Cheap Trick, and Joan Jett so you can guess my age. I find Sleep Token to be a mind opener. Suddenly you see musical possibilities that you never considered while also hearing and recognizing their extremely broad influences.

Sad twerking in the pit

There is a line half way through this track which goes "I could give you a blacklit paradise" Which made me bawl up after piecing together a few things. I think this is Vessels coming to grips and acceptance of his loss of his "Sleep" and all the emotions around it. The rest of the album mellowing out into self reflection and pleading with guilt.

Alongside the mentions of "under autumn canopies" in Euclid. I feel Vessels been dropping far more than he ever has which is genuinely touching to listen to. His most touching and introspective lyrics yet which given the feeling of acceptance at the end is beautiful

Only Sleep Token could combine 12 different genres into a single song an make it work 😂

I would honestly love to hear vessel rap more. his flow is fucking phenomenal, it just floats above the instrumentals so well in this album

His rap isn't fast or overly flashy, its a thick and powerful roll of punches, it is 'generic' but it goes so well with his voice, I love it. Also love the new screaming techniques used in this album compared to the previous 2 albums. So much talent

This album might be the GOAT for me. Knowing Sleep Tokens songs are all growers, and the fact that these unreleased singles BLEW MY MIND on the first listen is actually insane. I don't know how much better they can get, but I find myself loving everything more and more as time goes on. As an album, it's an absolute masterpiece. We are very lucky to be alive in a time to witness this sort of thing.

Agreed, I'm primarily hip-hop centric but that person was ruining it for themselves by holding Vessel to the same expectation as Logic who has rapped for a decade+ now. It feels to me like a complete disregard for context seems to be a thing that goes both ways when rap and metal find themselves coalescing.

Your aim on that track is to flow as smoothly as possible and not do anything that disrupts the smoothness. It's been a while since a rock band has given me full body chills multiple times like this album has. The musicality, the mixing and producing, vessels gorgeous fucking voice! It's just so good!

Love. This whole album is 10/10. From start to finish! My personal favorite of all time from any band. I never thought Sempiternal could be beat but here it is. Sleep Token takes every expectation and conventions and just crushes them!

Take Me Back To Eden is probably my favorite song off the album. Absolutely beautiful song and up there for AOTY for me.

This whole album has to be experienced in a dark room with really good headphones. It’s so good.

I’m calling it here - “Ascensionism” is the “Stairway to Heaven” of the 2020s. I believe we are seeing history in the making, this album is a master piece.

Sleep token has raised the bar when it comes to creating new experimental music that follow a new structure that varies from the standard set by modern metal it’s an inspiration and I’m aspiring to match what these guys are doing it’s so cool 🤘

One of those rare gems where the album tracks almost outshine the singles... I really think there is some symbolism scattered throughout. Euclid ends on the same piano riff as "The night does not belong to God", whilst Vessel also sings "The night belongs to you", this would flow straight into Sundowning back to back. Could this album be a different spectrum or prequal into Sundowning- maybe he's finally reached God in Eden? Sleep Token are so mysterious, cryptic... I am blown away by this album. Wow.

mate ascensionism fucked my shit up. immediately qualifies as a top 5 ST track. the craziest part was take me back to eden being even better. one of the best metal songs I’ve ever heard.

I listened to the album for the first time in my car and I teared up because of the piano and some of the lyrics really got me! My number one song on Take Me Back to Eden hands down.

Really nice commentary at the end... there is no objective standard for what a "masterpiece" actually is... 100% agree, this song is a masterpiece. Even the entire album, even with certain things I don't like about it, is a masterpiece. Maybe slightly flawed in some ways, and people will like and dislike various things about it which will change from person to person, but it is undoubtedly true, authentic, genuine art, and the whole thing is a freaking masterpiece and I hope it gets massive attention and goes down as one of the greatest albums of our time.

Sleep Token has to be one if not Top 3 of my favorite bands of the year! What makes them stand out from the rest is their experimentation and how successful they are at it. Vessel and the band mixing genres in complete harmony is something we just dont get often and when we do, its not always on point. This band DESERVES the praise they are getting not only as a band, but as ARTISTS!! The band is so dedicated to their craft that I have nothing but love and respect for them. Absolute TALENT!!!

I think this song and the Apparition are 10/10, it's hard to call song a masterpiece after one day, week or month. We usually call masterpieces older songs like classics for the genere, but i think it's good to just go with the vibe and emotions and do it right now. This album is amazing. I have been listening to Sleep Token for only 3 months now, but I can definetly call them my second fav band, just after BMTH. I love experimenting and being surprised with every release. WORSHIP

This song is like that moment in a Final Fantasy game when you’re at the boss, and you use all your strongest summons and attacks and just obliterate them. It’s every trick in the Sleep Token playbook, and yet is somehow not only NOT pretentious, but the BEST song on the album IMHO ❤

This band never ceases to amaze. It´s pure art and takes you on a musical journey you´ve ever experienced.

I LOVE this band! The way they seamlessly mix soundscapes is unreal. They’re like a perfect combo of Daughtry, Staind, Linkin Park, Korn, and Imagine Dragons. No one else is pulling off anything like it. 10/10.
