“How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. We have our fearless and unconventional mother, Young Salo, to thank. With a single-minded entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own business at the age of 49. She had a passion for the nail industry and we did everything in our power to support her. In the end, this is a family business.
Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He is energy personified and has a true passion for developing the best professional nail care products and education. Habib is the younger brother. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.
Today, more than 20 years later, Young Nails Inc., is a professional nail care manufacturing company exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and distributing domestically to over 3000 stores. We’re respected for our next-level product innovation and education. Our mission is to bring you the best quality products and we’ll show you how to use them with incredible results. It’s really that simple.

Geesh I love how Greg explains everything and shows you multiple views! I learn soooo much from his vidz! Thank you!!!
I love how you teach Greg, I feel like I am sitting right next to you in the classroom. The way you explain and demonstrate the proper technique is perfection and so simple, it makes for a great educator. It even works for an OG Nail Tech like me (2001 Grad). You can always learn new tricks. Thank you for your continued commitment to education in this field and for bringing the field great products such as yours.
When ever I think that Greg give it all, he find away to surprise me.. what a great tip specially for me and those who are starting to learn how to use acrylic 🙏 Thanks for taking the time to teach us ✌🏼

It never ceases to amaze me how you make this look easy, but gosh this takes practice. Thanks so much for your clear instructions. I’m off to get my practice hand out again.
This is so educational for a beginner like me. Now I know how to practice on my trainer hand to get the perfect acrylic application. I can’t wait to start practicing. Thanks Greg, for this very educational video. It helps a lot.
This is really great! I know it's the same concept with gel, but it would be amazing to see a video with gel as well (please and thank you!). I just love watching Greg work in "flow motion" LOL!!°
Greg is a master facilitator! He is so thorough in his explanation and his instructions are so clear
I overthink everything, so when Greg said "how do we do that without having to think too much", I fell in love with him a little more ❤
Thanks Greg , your tutorials does magic in my nail tech journey
Love ya Greg! You're such an awesome teacher! Thank you! 💙💜💚💛🧡💖💝
After whatching a thousand times Gs video of the Apex structure I finally I did it almost perfect. Thank you G
Say the mantra “press, press, press let it run”. Awesome 👏 it’s easy for me to sculpt , I even sculpt corkscrews . But that cuticle work , always looks over applied. Now I’ll just press , press , press , walk , walk , walk and let it run 🏃♀️
Love how you broke this down Greg. Thanks
Thanks Greg you are the 🤬I love your work

This is such a great product and you have just as great education. Thank you! 🙏

Love this and I know you always teach like on forms or tips and what if they only want there nails that long and just need that little extra length on the nail. This is great as I have most clients that want enhancements but not long more on the shorter side.
You have helped me so much.
Thank you Greg. 👍🏼😘😘
Great video! Thank you!
I love the little drawings! 😂 I teach nail technology and I do the same exact thing with the little drawings 😂 idk I feel like it helps student visualize better than if I just show it alone.
Thank you for sharing this.

All products self level?
I’m curious…. I was taught to place the apex in the middle of the natural nail plate, since after a week or two weeks it keeps the weight and strength still present on the nail plate, instead of it being beyond the free edge which can encourage weakness before the next fill. This is especially needed for clients that grow quickly. Have you guys heard of this? Is there still another reason to keep the apex at the junction, like you were saying in this video? I’m just curious of the differences and ‘whys’ from other professionals.
I feel like building the nail with the form is easer then applying the acrylic with a nail tip...
Can you make a video about how you clean your acrylic brushes
