Technically, this genre is "90's Eurodance." I was born in 90, and remember it very well growing up. There's more to delve into if you enjoy it lol. It's very nostalgic for people my age.

How would you even remember it? You were 5 when this came out. No 5 year old was listening to Eurodance. Can't understand people born in the 90s claiming they grew up with 90s music. Kids start listening to popular music in their early teens, so that would mean early to mid 2000s.
"Rhythm is a Dancer" and "Be My Lover" are the 2 songs you have to listen to from this type of electronica type dance music!

this was literally the type of music 'eurodance' what the entire of western Europe was listening to throughout the 90's. this brings back so many childhood memories.
Debarge,-(Rhythm of the night) is a good one. In case I miss it. Thursday is the one year anniversary of the channel. I would like to say congratulations to the channel and the family. Thank you Jamal for making Jordan do the channel. Jordan thank you for introducing us to Amber. So, here is to one down and 99 to go.🥳😎🔥👍
@Governor1993

I would put Debarge into 80s dance….the 90s Dance like Corona had a different sound than 80s….more Techno. I totally agree they should do DeBarge though….I suggested that song in another post. Then we have the whole 80s Freestyle genre like Stevie B, etc.
Definitely a dance song.This actually came out in 1993 . Techno early . Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam (Official Music Video)will be a good one . Jerry Duecette - Mama Let him Play for papa Lou.For the girls Slap Back by Shirley Ellis perfect for them and it is the new Walmart Commercial theme song.

Born in 1977 and grew up with this as a teenager in the 90s. An absolute banger, one of the greatest high energy dance songs I’ve ever heard in my life.
Jordan uses the term "ECHO" on a LOT of songs that have zero echo on them. THIS SONG has echo on the vocals all the way through. Just pointing it out so that he can REALLY know what echo is.
@ML-jk3sz
2 жыл бұрын
The vocals also have delay and panning on them which is what can mainly be heard.
@rray848
2 жыл бұрын
I think when he says 'echo' he is using it as a generic term that may instead be referring to 'reverb' or overdubbing a voice or instrument multiple times.
Another fun, somewhat famous, dance/pop song would be Haddaway "What is Love"
Fun fact: the woman in the video is Olga de Souza, but she's lipsyncing. The real singer is Jenny B.

'What Is Love' by Haddaway is another techno-dance video that still is played in dance clubs...
This was one of the huge club hits in the genre known as Synth-pop. When this played at the club everyone got on the dance floor!
I have heard the line "this is the rhythm of the night" so many times but have never heard the full song. It has been used commercially quite a lot.

Dance music peaked in the 90's! So many bangers! So many memories!
This song describes many of us who are dancers. Especially at night in the clubs and/or discos. The beat lives forever.
Omg I was a sophomore in high school when this came lol So many memories with this song Love your reaction

This music, 90's Euro dance/techno, was literally the rhythm of my life. I was in my early 20's and dancing in the clubs during this time and this makes me so nostalgic. I was living in England during this time and oh man, there was so much good music!

oooh 1993 - can't beat a great 90's hit - it's the era when I started to going clubbing, so all these songs are classics to me
In the late 90s, early 2000s in Portugal, in the Summer, night clubs and radios were all about this song!
La Bouche-be my lover, powerful voice of Melanie Thornton, who was sadly killed in a plane crash in 2001.
Now y'all are playing the club hits I remember dancing to. Going to a 24/7 club and dancing to these beats and coming out to see the sun coming up!

A great early 90's song heard on dance floors everywhere. We had so much fun back then!
With your anniversary coming up, I think it would be fun if you went back and re-listened to something you didn't like at the very start. Over the last week or so, I've been going back an re-watching some of your earliest videos. It's so cool to see your growth. I remember being pretty surprised that you basically hated Radio Head's "Creep". I feel like if that was a song you listened to for the first time today, you would love it.

It might be a matter of taste. I hated "Creep" in the 90s and still do today. My wife has always loved it. No song clicks with everyone. Some songs have narrow appeal.
You guys gotta do DeBarge's "Rhythm of the Night" now lol Also, "What Is Love" - Haddaway "Wanna Be My Lover" - La Bouche "Another Night" - Real McCoy "In A Dream" - Rockwell "Better Off Alone" - Alice Deejay "Around The Wolrd" - ATC "This Is Your Night" - Amber
Again , one of the great tunes from when my son was just getting into music as a small boy Superb !
I have a whole playlists of 90s eurodance. This song is so amazing!
OMG! EURODANCE! Yassss! Lol. What a wonderful rabbit hole to fall down. :) Here are some bangers: Captain Hollywood Project - More And More; Black Box - Strike It Up. Everybody Everybody; Soul II Soul - Back To Life; Snap! - Rhythm Is A Dancer (Original Mix); La Bouche - Be My Lover. Sweet Dreams; Technotronic - Pump Up The Jam; Sonique - Sky. This was an absolute Club Hit from the early 90s!! Great song!
A+ video! I LOVE IT! This is a bulletproof dance song, such a great video too!
Nothing but great amazing memories with this track
If you're liking this song, Corona also had another hit with "Baby Baby (Why Can't We Just Stay Together", which is an absolute banger. And if you're looking for 90s bangers, The Shamen's "Ebeneezer Goode" should be your next stop.
Today is my 1 year anniversary being part of your fam!! Thanks for the great work yall do everyday!!!
Oh my gosh! Brings back my early 20’s! I am from Oklahoma too and watching a bunchof Okies dance to this in clubs was the funniest thing in the world!
You guys have made my sat night I feel 21 again
I love seeing you guys enjoy the music I grew up to.
I remember hearing this song every night out for about 2 years back in the day. Never seen the video until now!
Corona is an Italian Eurodance project. First single, "The Rhythm of the Night", was released in Italy in November 1993 on Roberto Zanetti's DWA record label and became an instant hit. It featured the voice of the Italian singer Giovanna Bersola.
Brilliant. This was a massive dance tune of the mid 90’s.
Love this song. Takes me right back to my clubbing days
Bought this CD in my 20s. Wore it out. I fully expected them to be the next big thing, but it sadly didn't happen. Doesn't take away from the awesomeness of the album! They had three other hits from it, "Baby Baby", "Try Me Out", and "I Don't Wanna Be a Star". (And there's another song called "Rhythm of the Night", an 80s song by DeBarge, that you should check out when you're in an 80s mood.) For some more new artists, check out "Everybody Everybody" by Black Box, "The Hitman" by AB Logic, "Fascinated" by Company B, and "I've Been Thinking About You" by Londonbeat. ANY of those songs would be FIRE for your 1 year anniversary! Anyone want to co-nominate?
