    "One More Time" by Real McCoy is another awesome banger. There were so many of these songs in the early 90s like "Mr. Vain" by Culture Beat. Others have mentioned "The Power" and "Rhythm Is A Dancer" by Snap! The exclamation mark comes with the band name.

    In the 90's there were a ZILLION songs like this from European groups with the same beat and instrumentation and a guy rapping who could barely speak English LOL. It was called Eurobeat and it was very fast, like 135 bpm or more. "Rhythm of the Night" by Corona was one of those songs. Basically, all were huge club hits but almost all were one-hit wonders. These really are not "bands" per se, they are basically produced by DJ's with studio vocalists and mostly synthesized music and drum machines. They are very catchy but studio made productions. Nowadays they just come right out and say DJ Joe "featuring" Bill and Sue and Sam LOL.

    Yes it's right ! This kind of sound can be called Eurodance too. The beginnig were Hazell Dean, Divine, Dead or Alive and Paul Hardcastle in 1985. This kind of beat with the ROLAND TR 808 and ROLAND TR 909 drum machines appeears in 1988 until 2000, end of the Eurodance razzia. For quadragenarian people it was a good discotheque time like disco in the 70's. Real Mac Coy with Haddaway, Culture Beat, Snap, 2 Unlimited (most coming from Germany, Sweden, Holland, France and Belgium) and many more were the comet stars of that time until....Daftpunk died everybody with The Discovery album in 2000. Anyway like disco there were so much productions that Eurobeat killed it himself. A very goood time for me.

    I hate how they do that today. Sia's "Titanium" is credited as David Guetta feat. Sia, even though David Guetta is nowhere to be heard on the song. People have been producing songs for other artists for IONS. Now it's like they have a complex, where they want more than producer credits. 😒

    Corona sang "Rhythm Of The Night." "Another Night" is from 1994. It spent 11 weeks at #3, which I'm pretty sure is a record. Also, Madonna's "Vogue" is from 1990, so technically it's not an 80's song. 🙂

    Real McCoy and so many other club bangers filled our Fridays & Saturdays night in the late eighties and early nineties. First, if it was just the amigos, after the pick-up, we'd hit a fast food joint. With the girlfriends, it'd be a nice restaurant dinner. Then, inside the club (our closest one was "Phantoms") we'd drink and dance the night away to SO MANY SONGS! Just plain fun! Everybody was dancing with somebody. Great human energy! Here's a few other bangers if your time-traveling to the 80's/90's and want to hit the floor and DANCE! In My Eyes (Stevie B) 1989 - Really, any of his songs will do the trick. This is just my choice. Once thought of as a king of freestyle, you'll hear his smooth voice and synth beats. Rhythm is the Dancer (SNAP) 1992 - the beats...ferocious, the vocals and rap, impressive and powerful. Situation (YAZ/Yazoo) 1982 - The club vibe is strong in this song. You reacted to "Don't Go" by this band, and Situation doesn't disappoint. By the way, watch this version for a glimpse into the 80's dance scene! kzread.info/dash/bejne/f4mdzKybddyzmaw.html Give it To Me Baby (Rick James) 1981 - You already know this man, RSR! This one kicks it up and makes you groove.

  • @TheNorman26
    @TheNorman263 күн бұрын

    The song was released in 1993 and the music style is Eurodance. In the 90s, there were many bands that made Eurodance. Very successful ones included: DJ Bobo - "Take Control"; "Somebody Dance with Me," Corona - "The Rhythm of the Night," Playahitty - "The Summer is Magic." These are just a few bands with very good Eurodance tracks. What is particularly good in Eurodance songs is a distinctive bass that stands out a lot. I was born in 1983, and my favorite time was the 90s, especially Eurodance. That was very good self-made music with not as many covers as now. And you could already dance well to the songs. By the way, I think it's great when you make reaction videos to the music you didn't know before. And then seeing how you react to the music is simply wonderful.

    This was a smash, dance floor packing hit in 1994, 95. It quickly reached No. 3 on the Billboard Top 100 Chart and remained on the chart for over 45 weeks. Pretty phenomenal to stay on the Hot 100 chart for almost a year.

    By the way, Hazy Shade of Winter was on the soundtrack of the movie "Less Than Zero", which a really, really, good 80s movie (you guys should react to that one on your movie react channel). It stars a young Robert Downey Jr (aka, Iron Man of the MCU), and James Spader (voice of Ultron in 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' movie). It also stars Jami Gertz (from the movie, The Lost Boys), And Andre McCarthey (from the movies, 'Weekend At Bernie's", and 'Mannequin').

    Crazy story about The Real McCoy: Those ladies are miming in this video. The real singer is Karin Kasar and she recorded the songs separately from Olaf…they never even MET until years later. It wasnt until 2016 or so that they finally performed their songs live and together for the first time. The reason for the lip syncing was due to management/production choices…maybe for marketing the group and songs.

    This kind of early/mid 90s Eurodance brings back so many memories of going to primary school dances and roller skating rinks during that era. This was the first album I ever bought on CD when I was a kid. You gotta react to their song, Run Away, next. Jay, Rhythm of the Night is a song by "Corona". Just a few of the other songs from this era worth checking out are Crystal Waters - 100% Pure Love, Culture Beat - Mr Vain, Dr Alban - Sing Halleluiah, Mr President - Coco Jambo, Amber - This Is Your Night, La Bouche - Be My Lover, and Sweet Dreams. There's just so many bangers to mention!

    Real McCoy was a German Eurodance band. As other have hinted around at regarding the other song you were thinking of it might be: Corona - The Rhythm of the Night but more likely was SNAP! - Rhythm Is A Dancer Beyond that - a couple other more recent songs that start out slower, but end up rocking: The Pretty Reckless - Take Me Down and Halestorm - Here's To Us It's been quite a while since you visited Halestorm and have totally missed The Pretty Reckless.

    Eurodance was big in the 90s and much sounded the same. "Rhythm is a Dancer" by Snap, "What is Love" by Haddaway, "Bailando" by Paradiso, "Be My Lover" by La Bouche. Even a house remake of "Cotton Eye Joe" by Rednex. Real McCoy also had hits with "Run Away" and with a dance remix of Redbone's "Come and Get Your Love", the song in the Bouygues Telecom Christmas advert with the dancing Dad that makes everyone cry.

    After meaning soon to be roommate; he introduced me to the band who would play the Lounge Circuit in Vegas, Reno, Tahoe, Laughlin, as well those across the country. He had already known the band fairly well, but once my buddy and I join him and his best friend, we became what the band called The Four Wisemen. The name was after a drink the guys would sometimes order called the 3 Wisemen, and this was straight alcohol, and tasted like gasoline. Whenever they were in Vegas; we would be at every show during our days off. We even because a part of their show; as they would use is during parts of the. They loved our energy, and enthusiasm, and wet lived the music, the vibe, and getting drunk. We even had a tour list of when they would be in Vegas or Laughlin, so we could go see them. We even used our connections with the band; to get my roommate's sister's wedding party into the club they where player in Laughlin, which had a line to get in. That's just how connected we were. In some clubs; we would even hang out with some of the band members. This sing always remains me of those great times we had
