You should absolutely use gold to get the gems, 1500 gold = 225 gems. So by spending 300 gems you are losing out on those 75... Oh. I guess I became a mathologist today 😮

You should use gold all the time for those gems deals because gold replaces itself with your daily wins and daily quests. Gems don't.

I don’t draft much and I’m terrible when I do. Always use gold

1500 gold is 15% of a draft, 300 gems is 20% of a draft. 1500 15% of 10000, 300 is 20% of 1500. Plus 1500 gold are easy to make. 300 gems is like 6 win draft.

Gold -> Gems -> Events -> Boosters Boxes -> Money $$ the free to play pipeline

It depends, its 5 gold to 1 gems, however if you are an infinite drafter then it doesn't really matter. Also its always best to trade the infinite resource which is gold to gems which is the limited resource.

I don’t think it’s a popularity thing, it definitely has a cost barrier…and if you’re not at 60%wr and hitting that 4wins it’s pretty costly to keep running it back

I played 3 nadu decks at my local lgs this week and beat them all with ease. People need to stop complaining and start planning to beat Nadu.

gold is a free resource, gems you have to pay or win. I would always choose to convert out of gold even if the deal is not amazing to have things like gems for the pass.
