I think it's looking for two open sources of colorless. When he tapped the island for blue, he could cast it.

I think what's happening is the game is bugged to only show it as castable when strictly 2 mana and 1 colorless mana are untapped in his mana pool. When he had floated 4 mana, leaving nadu castable mana untapped, it was saying it was castable. I imagine if he has cast it when he had the 4 floated, it would've tapped the 3 mana he had untapped automatically. It auto taps for him when he does cast it, so it's probably just a bug with card border highlights not showing up correctly.

Seeing you pass all those eviscerator's insight's causes me physical pain. Super cool deck btw, I love the combo of snakcers with genku.

The specifics of the bug were that you had to tap everything BUT the colorless, then the game would recognize that you could cast the colorless as Green.

bruh yall better report these bots, I only got eyes for one sexy specimen and he just drafted a pretty sick deck

That first game was wild. I think i would have scooped half a dozen times just trying to solve the puzzle.

Finally an archetype I haven't seen you play. It was a grinder, but in your hands that doesn't seem to be a problem.

I'm excited for the Arena open tomorrow, because then I won't ever have to think about this set ever again.

I would have never thought to make that play in the first game using full control with the marauder. I don’t know how Nummy thinks of these lines. I guess that’s why he’s the golden god

Usually when something like that happens, I've noticed that trying to cast it / put it on the stack first and then paying the cost works, just like you did there in the end. A weird bug for sure, feels like this set in particular is littered with bugs like that.

According to Sierkovitz an the 17 Lands data Deem Inferior is U/B best common.

I was so confused about the nadu until I realized the card said "You may cast that card for as long as it remains exiled, and ~~you may spend colorless mana~~as though it were mana of any color to cast that spell" and not spend any color.

No you can definitely use same color mana if you have it. Like if you steal a card that cost black mana and you have no colorless, but you do have swamps, you can still cast it.
