I am lucky enough to live somewhat close to Penns Creek in PA, but will always LOVE Idaho Falls, it is the best fishing, all eithin 2 hours drive.

I love how when Mark hooks into a fish it’s like his first time! I completely get it because the sip and tug from a fat trout never gets old! I love that area. I grew up there and have a family cabin in IP. Amazing fishing!

Lived in the area for a couple of years and fished all around eastern Idaho. It really is trout fishing heaven along highway 20. I didn't realize there were different strains of browns found in Warm river. Cool insight.

Brookies are my favorite as well. A couple of mountain rivers in Utah hold beautiful specimens up to 18”. Great fun on dry flies.

hanson calum I cant reveal all of them but a very productive spot is White Rocks River upstream of the campground. The further you go the better the fishing. There are also cutthroats and rainbows in there. July through September is the best time to fish. Try a #16 foam Humpy with a #18 zebra midge dropper and you will catch fish. Pay special attention to any runs where the water gets deeper as well as pocket water. Good luck. You’ll catch a bunch.

@@calumhanson7723 the boulder mountains in south west Utah hide some huge brookies also 😉 Bridget at Chunky Trout Outfitters will put you on some monsters.

Love that area. There's a little known place to fish between the Box Canyon and Ashton, Id. It's called Harriman Ranch. Sadly you skipped it.

Mark, that Henry's Lake fishing was awesome. For us old beginners, please explain your rod/reel/line/leader setups. Just seeing you catch fish is great but I think most would like to know details on the technical parts. Best Regards.

The state fish is O. clarki or the west slope cutthroat not the Yellowstone cutthroat. Yellowstone cutthroat are hard to come by in Idaho!

Ads every few minutes. I get it...money, but on KZread, there's just too much to choose from with little or no ads. I did about half of it and bailed, but if you can compete and it's making you money, I still say, go for it.
