Litter-Robot 4: Yellow Ping-Pong Light - Pinch Detect

Litter-Robot is equipped with Anti-Pinch Sensors on both sides of the Waste Drawer Chute to ensure your cat’s safety while in use. These sensors monitor for potential pinch conditions at all times.
If your unit displays a yellow ping-pong light bar, this indicates that the Anti-Pinch Sensors have been activated. You will also receive a notification on your phone if you use the Whisker App.

⚙️ Step-by-step how to fix:
1. Make sure the unit is in the home position and is turned off and unplugged from the outlet.
2. Remove the bonnet by pressing and holding on the latches on the side while lifting.
3. Remove the globe by lifting it using the black handle located near the top of the globe.
4. Inspect and clean the AntiPinch sensors with a cloth to remove debris. You should hear a click when pushing to ensure the sensors are working properly.
5. Inspect the carbon filter located on the underside of the globe. Make sure it's fully seated and the cover hasn’t popped out of place.
6. Reinstall the globe by connecting it to the base with the handle facing the top.
7. Align the hinges with the bonnet onto the base, you should hear the latches snap into place.
8. Plug the unit into the outlet and power on. The unit will start a clean cycle. If your unit shows a solid blue light the troubleshooting was successful.
9. If your Litter-Robot still shows a yellow ping light pattern please contact support.

    I’ve followed everything in this video and it still says pitch and doesn’t weigh them I’ve had it since July and it’s finally failing on me
