After more than 1 year on my network, the Litter Robot started having multiple WIFI connection issues. The only way to solve it was to create a 2.4 GHz Guest Network on my router, even though my router already had 2.4 and 5 GHz networks available.
Doesn’t help when I can’t get it to the home position

Hi Ron! We do recommend removing the LitterHopper from the Bonnet before disassembling for deep cleaning.
My app will say waste drawer is full. When I go & check it, the light bar is solid blue & not flashing like it should be. How can I fix that? I have MANY problems with waste drawer & I reset frequently (off for 5 seconds, connect, reset, connect,empty, cycle). I vacuum the sensors to keep clean & not give false reading. My Litter-Robot 3 worked very well, but I wanted the 4 to keep an eye on my girls weight. But it’s been problematic almost from the beginning. My warranty is over & don’t want to spend $600 for another one. But what should I do with app problem?

I’ve gone thru this video so many times and have replaced my parts. I contact support and they refer me back to this video over and over and my litter box is still now working properly.

If you order a LitterHopper separately then you will receive the LitterHopper along with a new bonnet for your Litter-Robot 4 so that you can attach the LitterHopper. Interesting that at 1:01 the video highlights the new accessory but also just how bad the bag design for Whisker's own litter is. Why am I pouring litter awkwardly out of the front of the bag instead of the side like every other litter product in the world? At $30 a bag without a subscription, at the very least the bag should be ergonomically designed for simply pouring out litter.
If you’re contemplating purchasing one, I would say just buy it. Have had mine for 4 months now. Major quality of life improvement for you and your cat.
Everybody who has that shit should move your ass and clean the cat litter by yourself.
What does this "filter" filter? Why not cover it up completely since it's next to poop & pee???
The last section about onboarding to the app is just for new units, correct? For existing units, the hopper will appear in the app once it's been activated?
Hello! If you are adding the LitterHopper to a Litter-Robot 4 that is already onboarded, then all you have to do is install the LitterHopper and go through the setup process within the Whisker App. The steps for onboarding are specifically for if your Litter-Robot 4 is not already onboarded.

Hi! This will vary from household to household. The LitterHopper holds 8-10 lbs of litter, so the outcome will vary depending on how much litter is used and how many cats are using the one Litter-Robot.
@@LitterRobot How much litter is used, ok , little pee , big pee and so on... But the number of cat : no. One a complete cycle is one cycle no matter how many cats. I try to figure out on many days the robot could be (+ ou -) autonomous .
If you do decide to not listen and purchase this do yourself a favor and get the 3 year warranty, mine unfortunately came with this problem (lasted 1 year and a month) and you don’t want to be stuck with a broken robo litter box 4 like me… especially after spending north of $700.

Just followed this. Disclaimer: This is not a repair that I believe the average user can 'easily' do. It's a shame that it is expected for a $600+ item.
Seems to have fixed my 3.5 year old refurb LR3. Got a little over eager with cleaning and fried the DFI sensors apparently. Had a flashing blue light that I couldn’t resolve. Also replaced the pinch sensors that were corroded. I’d recommend gloves because there was urine and litter in about every crevice. Also a fairly long skinny screwdriver would have made it easier.

The drawer liner's ridiculous clips are such an absolute pain. Fiddliest little super annoying thing in the world. Can't believe they didn't spend more time in R&D on this part. My wife loves our two LR3s and I think they're "okay" but not amazing. But a less fiddly way to put in liners would make a big difference in my opinion
