I had no idea how to dye yarn, so this was really enjoyable seeing the different techniques of how it's done. Crystal you can keep the BOD Vog alive, just you and Erik take us shopping and how your doing your landscaping. I miss it was fun channel.

I honestly think they all turned out beautiful. I really don't have a favorite. Those of us who have eyes to see are so blessed to see all the beautiful colors.

Hi Crystal! I actually like all of the hanks that you dyed. Your "ink pen in the dryer" and the "Tropic Thunder" are absolutely beautiful to me. I think you should be proud of them all, since you and Erik did them together and it will be a fun memory for you to reflect upon. In my opinion - a great job!

The random nature of the dying process adds to the lovely nature of the dyed yarn. I would call the yellow and coral colors made in the microwave, lemon melon sorbet. My favorite hank is, Ink Pen in the Drier.

I think it’s just fantastic that your hubby, “Mr. BOD” participates in the videos and the craft of crocheting 🧶 and knitting. I think the results are really, really good. The two at the end should be Sunset.

I think they all turned out pretty good! The blue ombre, "ink pin in the dryer" is my fav!

That blue is GORGEOUS! But I like all of the colors! The tropic thunder is pretty as well! And of course mountain thunder is awesome too. The orange and pink looks like mango raspberry

So excited! I've never seen this done! "I put my hand upon your hip. When I dip, you dip, we dip!" 💃

WOW Crystal they all turned out great love the names too, your both so talented and know how to have fun with yarn. I think the first hank you dyed could be called "Autumn leaves", the yellow/copper hank "Tropical sunset" lastly the hank with the multiple colours "Eeyore's Rainbow" after Eeyore from Winne the pooh 🙋🏻‍♀️💞

I agree! Autumn leaves was the very first thing that came to mind, when I saw those colors.

"Purple Empress" is gorgeous! May I suggest "Mellow Yellow" and "Melon Surprise" for Erik's.

I do too a lot of times. I will often wait till after Easter and buy the dye kits real cheap just for dying purposes. Easy to use when doing small quantity dying for just me. Is fun to just play. Kook aid is fun sometimes too

Great job you two. I love the “Mountain Lightning” (a hat made with that would go great with green eyes). But the winner goes to the “Ink Pen in the Dryer”...love that name. Those blues just POP. 🧶❤️

They all look excellent to me. My favorite is Erik's watermelon mango that he made in the microwave. 🍉🥭

Absolutely love 'ink pen in the dryer' and even though green isn't my favorite color I really like the green one

They all turned out so beautiful. The unnamed pink and yellow reminds me of Strawberry Mango sorbet. The one that you aren’t fond of is so pretty, Crystal. Those pee pee pads look familiar. (We use them for our elderly cat) Perfect for yarn too.

I volunteered at a museum where we dyed wool yarn with natural dyes. They are all so pretty. It was fun to watch.

Beautiful colors. Using red food coloring when I decorated cakes took alot of food coloring. Best food coloring to use would probably be the paste. You can or could at one time buy the paste food coloring at Walmart in the cake decorating aisle. All of the yarn looked nice. Great job and enjoyed watching you two work together ❤.😊👍

I'm in love with all of them. But I really love your blue ombre. I wish you did sell them I would buy them all. I used to dye my own yarn I still have it packed up. Crystal, you should make squares using your beautiful creations. Then turn them into a blanket for when you and the family do movie night. Your hanks, in my opinion, are honestly very attractive. I'd enjoy working with any of your color ways. Keep "playing" with those colors. And remember, if you ever make a color that you really don't like, you can always re- dye it with black. 😉

Love the mtn lightning and the ink pen in the dryer is gorgeous. I think they are all pretty. The vinegar acts as mordant- what sets the dyes with wool yarns. As long as they are wool the color should be good. They are pretty.

And I missed you again today. We had a yard sale at 8 o’clock until four we closed up around 2 o’clock I made dinner my husband cleaned off the table and I said I gotta go lay down my God I’m 77 years old that was a long day here. Hot 91°. So again I missed you cause I just got up from a nap. Keep up your wonderful good work.

Eric's 1st one is melons. The 4th one is sunset. I love the biggest one and the ink pen in the dryer.
