Finland has a pretty good education system, religious vs non-religious is something like 60%-40%, the country is pretty racist but luckily I live in the capital that's more progressive and multicultural. Taxes are brutal, homelessness is very low, weed is still illegal, the prime minister is a woman. Wasdadealis!

Hi Ari. I'm a Finn. We're mostly uhm.. evang...lutherans. Not sire how to write but who gives a shit, right? I quit church straight away when I turned 18. We have religious folks in the rural areas and I'm pretty sure it's something like 60% religious vs 40% non-religious. The capital Helsinki is okay but you should visit us in the summer months, winter is brutal because of the darkness. I guess I just want to thank you all for doing what you do. Sorry for rambling a little. Oh yeah, yesterday a major political party suggested for the first time we legalize weed.. fingers crossed! In 1972 weed was made illegal by a fucking coin toss. Fuck! Hasn't stopped me though, I'm nearly 40 and I've been high as a kite since I was 14-15. Needless to say I'm an uneducated and unemployed sack of shit haha, wanted to be a musician or an artist of somekind but never made it. Who cares, life's great anyway. Fuck I gotta stop typing. Wasdadealis!

guys do this thing i've noticed where they like to "have their cake & eat it too". so the guys doing "sober bertober" consciously or unconsciously know that it prob does them good to clear their head & get everything out of their system for a few weeks out of the year, but if they frame it like "we're doing this for bert" they can bitch about it till their hearts content. you know? like those middle ages dudes who complain their wife won't give them bjs or whatever - half of those dudes i suspect just like having something to bitch about to their work mates, because they don't want solutions. if you suggest he puts it on the table for real like "this is important to me, we need to talk about this" or mention maybe he & his wife could get therapy or something, & split up if it's not something that can be fixed, they do *not* want to hear it. sometimes guys just like having something to bitch about that other men understand & will sympathise with.
