Martin belongs in the HOF. If Dick Williams, Sparky Anderson, Whity Herzog, Tom Lasorda, Tony LaRussa, Boobby Cox, and Joe Torre are in the Hall, so should Martin.

The sad thing is most of those managers you mentioned never won championships as ball players. Billy did it all and he’s still not in the Hall of Fame and it’s a travesty! Somebody in the press or MLB has a vendetta toward him and it’s absurd!

Best manager I ever saw. You couldn't wait to see what he was going to do on the field.

Earl Weaver, also a great manager said this of Billy Martin: 'Billy understands baseball almost better than anyone else, but he just doesn't understand people.' So very true

When Billy Martin was named Yankees manager in 1975, Casey said that this is one of happiest moments

Billy had a crazy life, so sad that his life ended so badly. But as a Tigers fan, he will always be remembered as one of the best managers in franchise history. God bless u Billy r.i.p.

Billy Martin's career winning percentage as a manager is better than that of Hall of Famers Durocher, Williams, Herzog or Torre. It is time for Billy to join them in Cooperstown ...

unfortunately, today with all the sabermetric bs and instant replay, managers like Billy are extinct. I wish baseball was still like those days. so much more exciting than today's game
