Discovered your channel because I was trying to figure out something carb related to my 82 750seca I bought, not running. I ended up binging the whole Playlist, absolutely amazing work. I wish I had the talent, expertise, tools one day to make something that beautiful. Absolutely impressed. I hope you're still enjoying the bike!

@Mezzmoengineering I'm sure you'll do great and you'll get many top end customers! I mean, if I had the money, after seeing your work, I would literally have you fly over to the US for a custom bike, haha! If you can get seen by customers that can afford this, I'm sure you won't even be able to accept all the jobs coming to you. If I may say, if it's not done, I highly suggest you start making shorts, 1min or less, of the most impressive change, start/finish. Get inspired by watching some shorts of highly viewed short channels, maybe even a tiktok account. Like it or not, that's what work today, and a big buzz/viewer pool will increase your business greatly. Far from me to seem like a know it all, I don't, I've barely ever commented on a video, and I've been watching KZread almost every day for over 10 years. I really think you have the talent, expertise, and taste to make it big. You just gotta figure out how to condense so much work into 1 min videos. Advertise your business or channel, and I'm sure it'll blow off! At least I really hope it does. It's just my humble opinion. I'll check the rest of your videos with pleasure, I hope to see shorts coming soon. Ps: I see a lot of shorts about solving problems that occurs during projects(theres always something coming up). The algorithm seems to like it a lot it makes a lot of views. Not everything needs to be spectacular, problem solving is huge too!

My first "big" bike after passing my test was a mid 80s XJ 550. I've always had a fondness for the mid 80s Yams, they were not exceptional but they were dependable. After a few years riding experience, and owning a couple of fast Hondas, I bought an FJ1100. It was a flying machine, I did some mods, making it a FJ 1100/1200 hybrid, and loved it. The wheels look suspiciously like the FJ1200 wheels I fitted, and the tank has similar lines to the FJR. As I've got older, I've realised that with some fettling, the mid range mid 80s bike, have enough of everything, but honestly I don't think I've seen a restoration with subtle upgrades that looks or sounds nicer than yours. Nice piece of work and I hope you get to enjoy it for years to come.

From the side it looks a bit high and maybe big, but I do think lowering will make it look better from the side but won't look right against the speedo. The speedo is definitely in the right spot, so no moving that. Going to think about this a bit more, either it stays as is or I might look for something a bit smaller. Really not sure but the more I seem to think about it the more I will probably leave it as is...
