Enjoy this Yamaha Sessions performance from Drift-Lab. Drift-Lab is a group of musicians who are all masters of their craft in their own right and when placed together in this group are able to produce some of the most captivating and inspiring displays of musicianship out there today.
Drift-Lab consists of Manuele Montesanti (Synthesizers, Keys & programming), Matteo Mancuso (guitar), Federico Malaman (bass guitar), and Daniele Chiantese (drums).

Drift-Lab came into existence as the brainchild of sound designer, composer and Yamaha Artist Manuele Montesanti. His love for creating progressive compositions that fluidly cross boundaries, paired with his outstanding musicianship, led to him making the basis for what would become the Drift-Lab as featured in this session.

Mi vien la pelle d'oca, chiamare comunemente "musica" quest' opera d'arte, e chiamare musica quel obbrobrio che si ascola in radio, trap, rap, reggaeton, e minchiate varie, credo che e' arrivato il momento di ridefinire il concetto di Musica quella Vera, a quei rumori che tanto piacciono a chi non capisce una sega, che purtroppo grazie a questi ultimi e' la più redditizia.
I am so glad a friend of mine shipped me to this band. They are AWESOME!!!
nobody plays bass like Federico - nobody plays guitar like Matteo - now i'm in love with the drummer and keyboard as well

For real. I’ve watched these three tracks way too many times now and could use some more stuff 😂😬 I hope this project is still alive and they’ll release new material some day, another Yamaha Session would be a nice bonus. Love these guys.

Matteo out there as usual and so incredibly accurate. I want to hear him dirty up the fusion a bit and lean a little Page/Beck. Bassist,fabulous, wanted to hear that stuff on fretless. Keys, really got outside a few times. Great. Drummer, highly skilled, too clean, more swing and dynamics please.

This band is so disgustingly good! The guitarist is obviously amazing but for me the bassist makes it go! Frederico's groove and danceability on the disco odd time feel is epic!

Is tempo the same thing as time itself? If so, these musicians have the ability to time travel. They warp time and space just to prove that it is possible, and for our enjoyment. Thank you for keeping skilled musicianship alive. It is a never ending path..
