If I adjust the timing chain, do I have to adjust the valve ?! I have a 2018 Raptor 700 and I just saw that the lines are not parallel to each other. And I don't have any problems with the engine running properly and there are no symptoms whatsoever

If it's a loud tapping noise, you either need to adjust them again or perhaps new valves if they are past tolerances

Hey i bought a 734 kit for my 2018 raptor the mechanic is saying the piston is touching the valves what can i do to fix it ?? I had to go get my bike he obviously don’t know what he’s doing I can’t trust him

one quick thing i can think of is TDC (top dead center) may not be set correctly? if so you could possibly have a kit for another engine perhaps? i believe the 734 kit is a big bore kit and not a stroker one. unless you have the wrong kit or valve-train issues their shouldn't be a issue with it

@@PartzillaParts so I found out what the problem is .. i put a 5250 cam on it and its way too big i have to shave the rokers and change springs

I wish they still sold those wrenches

my timing mark on the cam is not 100% straight whit the sprocket but its straight on the crank line

The mark on the cam is normally a tiny but to the left when on Tdc nothing to worry about as long as it’s not more than 1/8-1/4 inch away
