I say them we are not in Siberia neither we have 50 ° Celsius bellow zero, it's only a matter of wearing tre right clothes. Greetings from Madrid. 🇪🇸💙

Yes, yes, you're damn right! Yakut is not the one who does not freeze, but the one who dresses warmly! But still, many travelers are freezing here, as they are equipped in their homeland, and here these clothes do not really help. A few days ago, an Italian extreme cyclist stopped his trip through winter Yakutia, as he froze his feet badly.

It's hot in summer. Yakutsk is on the fifth place in the number of sunny days in Russia. It's magical here in summer. And winter is also very sunny. That's probably why our ancestors were the first on the planet to come up with sunglasses :) www.selectspecs.com/ru/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/povjazki-dlja-glaz-iz-tkani-i-dereva.png

In summer we enjoy the sun, we have a short summer))) Yakut people are very enterprising. Perhaps the reason for this is the cold. The slow and lazy would not have survived. And many more in Yakutia are creative. We have a very developed film production. Russian film critics called this phenomenon Sakhawood, like Bollywood :) The IT industry is also actively developing now. The taxi-hailing app Indriver is a competitor of Uber originally from Yakutsk. We are also proud of the game development company - Mytona. Many young people work in the IT field. And in recent years, tourism has been developing in Yakutia.

-70°F. There has never been -70°C in Yakutsk. The record low temperature of -83.92°F was recorded in 1891. The climate has changed a lot since then. But Yakutsk is the most contrasting city in the world in terms of temperature - the annual amplitude is 102.8°C. Average temperature in winter -40°F. Do not believe hyping bloggers who claim that in Yakutsk -70°C. They are blatantly lying.

Unfortunately, this is not quite true. Global warming is already affecting the usual way of life in the Yakut villages. The landscape is changing, something inevitable and terrible is happening. Will our grandchildren be able to live as carefree as we do in the unchanging Yakut nature? I don't think so. The BBC filmed a story about the changing climate in the Yakut village of Churapcha, it's not far from our village: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aJOl2bprpZnPl9o.html
