Yair by sub would’ve made this narrative with the “rematch” so interesting. A TKO injury makes sense but at the same time it came from a supposed “submission attempt”. If this fight matched the intensity of the other fights, this card could’ve been one of the greatest fight night cards ever assembled. Glad to see a bunch of great fights

This was not a sub. Yair even looked at his corner after the fight, pointed to his shoulder and shrugged. He didn't know what happened. It was certainly not intentional from his side..

Precident has already been set for this.. someone got armbared in the past and instead of the elbow the forearm broke. It was declared a submission because even though the forearm wasn't what's targeted he still manipulated a limb and broke it doing so, submission. Same here.
