मिलिंद जी रफ़ी साहब की आवाज एक Unsolved mystery है क्योंकि रफ़ी साहब जिस कलाकार के लिए गाते उसी कलाकार की आवाज़ और रंग ढंग में ढल जाते चाहे फिल्म का मेन हीरो हो या सह कलाकार या कोमेडियन। फ़िल्म शहनाई 1964 में एक गाना है "कितनी जवान है ज़िंदगी" जिसे एक ही समय में विश्वजीत और जॉनी वॉकर पर फिल्माया गया है जिसे रफ़ी साहब ने कलाकार के अनुसार अपनी आवाज़ को चेंज किया है और एक फ़िल्म गद्दार 1974 में आई थी जिसमें विनोद खन्ना और प्राण आदि कलाकार हैं इसी फ़िल्म में एक गाना है "तू गद्दार ही सही" जिसमें रफ़ी साहब ने सात अलग अलग कलाकारों अपनी आवाज़ दी है लेकिन हैरानी की बात यह है कि रफ़ी साहब ने सातों कलाकार के लिए अलग अलग अंदाज में अपनी आवाज़ दी है।

Rafi Sb was master of all the sections of music. He had very deep understanding of lyrics, compositions and situations.. He had natural ability to pull up the specific voice tone modulating on situation and actors.. There was many incidents where Lyrist and Music Directors use to take inputs from Rafi sb in the songs but Rafi told them never mention his name on such contribution to anyone.. Because Music Directors and Lyricists knew whatever the basic tune of that song they just use to sing in front of Rafi Sb and he use note in his way and start the remarshal where Music Directors were stuns by his ability to things extra ordinary..

Again, the presenter has done an excellent job. His knowledge of Indian playback music is deep. If I may add anything to his video, it is that Manoj Kumar was rightly worried that Rafi's "Hum Kaale Hain to" on Mehmood would upstage him in this movie, and he tried hard to have this song not picturized on Mehmood. However, the director held steadfast, and rightly so!

There are so many films where this scenario has been repeated. I would point out particularly Naya Daur - All songs for Dilip kumar (udein jab jab, maang ke saath), then a master stroke for Johnny walker "main bombay ka babu" and for a character artist "Aana Hai to Aa Raah Mein" a totally mesmerizing and high pitch song.. no need to put superlative terms .. just we have to say "Rafi sahab". That would do.

Hi Sir, I want to add some of films with two actors and one voice. First is "Madhumati " Rafi saheb sings for Dilip kumar ji most emotional song of the film " Toote hue khwabon ne" the second is for Johny Walker ji and that is " Jungle mei Mor nacha" and one more film is " Pathhar ke Sanam" Rafi saheb sings for Manoj ji a Title song and the other comedy song on Mehmood Sir that is " Dushman hai Zamana Thenge se". In "Kaala Pathhar" also 1 song is there " Dhoom mache Dhoom, aaj ki raina" which is picturised on 4 Actors if I am not wrong that is Shashi Kapoor ji, Shatrughan Sinha ji, Satayan Kapu ji and Parikshit Sahani all different tone and voice. Like that countless films are there "Ek phool do maali" , "Mr. Natwarlal" are the few names which i could remember. Such was his talent, Rafi sahab is undisputed Shahenshaah of Singing world.

Rafi was a great singer bacause he was a great singer. Full stop. Your reasons about providing background for three artists or in three genres is of no value. I’m a music tutor almost all good singers are able to sing in different genres. Asha has sung cabaret all her life then Umrao Jaan then semi classical compositions solos and duets with Lata.

@@halfticketmusic why does it have to be in ONE film?? If we are talking of the ability of a singer than it matters not over how many films does a singer display his or her versatility. Doing it IN ONE film is a matter of OPPORTUNITY not indicative of the ability.

Stop praising Rafi who was just a copybook singer, nothing more than that. Kishore Kumar WAS / IS / WILL FOREVER BE the best male playback singer of Bollywood. Rafi, or any other contemporary singer for that matter, stands no where near the class of Kishore Da. Kishore and only Kishore Da was the ONLY TRUE GENIUS of Bollywood.

बे..शक.. रफी एक अच्छा सिंगर था इस बात को कोई जुटला नही सकता... लेकिन... हर एक सिंगर हर एक गीतकार संगीतकार, हर एक बिजनेश मेन, हर एक फिल्मी हीरो का एक पीरियड होता हे... एक समय होता हे ज्यूबिली कुमार कहलाने बाला राजेंद्रकुमार और हिंदी सिनेमा का पहे ला सुपर स्टार राजेश खन्ना, इससे पहले भारतभूषण जेसे कई नामी स्टार अपने समय में आए और समय होते ही गुमनामी के अंधेरे में खो गए फिल्मों में गायक की बात करे तो 1935 से फिल्मों में प्लेबेक सिंगिंग का दौर चालू हुआ तब से लेकर आज तक बहोत से गायक आए और अपना जौहर दिखाकर गुमनाम हो गए जिसमे सबसे बड़ा नाम तलत मेहमूद का हे उसका समय जेसे पूरा हुआ और रफी का नाम बड़ा हो गया फिर... आया किशोर उस के गाने उसका काम तो लोगोने इतना पसंद किए की खुद रफी भी डिप्रेशन में आ गया जिसके चलते उसको दिल का दौरा पड़ा और वो भी सुपुरते खाक हो गया 1950 से 1970 तक हिंदी फिल्म संगीत का एक सुवर्ण युग रहा उस काल में गीतसंगित से जुड़े हर एक गायक-गायिका और गीतकार संगीतकार ने लाजवाब अपने हूनर से गीत संगीत जगत को आबाद किया और हिंदी फिल्मों के गीत संगीत को एक बुलंद उंचाई पे लाने में अहम रोल निभाया रफी इतना नशीबदार था की 1944 में आने के बाद तुरंत उनको नौशाद, शंकर जय किशन, हुश्नलाल भगतराम, वसंत देसाई सी. रामचंद्र, मदन मोहन, सचिन'दा जेसे मजे हुए विद्वान संगीत के उस्तादो से काम करने का मौका मिला और ये रफी का टैलेंट ही था की 1975 तक वो अपनी बारी खेलकर नोट आउट रहा और समय का पैया जो उल्टा चला तो वोही रफी हरफन मौलारफी का आसमान में तपता सूरज एकाएक अस्त हो ने लगा 1975 से1979चार साल में तो तपता सूरज डूब गया और...और... और.. 😢😢 1976 में मुकेशचंद्र माथुर फिर रफी फिर किशोर और एक रहा सहा गायक महेंद कपूर, बिछड़े... सभी... बारी... बारी मन्ना'दा तो पहले ही फिल्म संगीत से निवृत हो गए थे बहोत्से संगीत कार इस दुनिया से जा चुके थे और बहोतसे संगीतकारो घरपर बैठ गए थे अब नई पीढ़ी के हाथों में पूरे बॉलीवुड की लगाम आई 2001 में नई सदी के साथ नई टेक्नोलोजी भी आई कम्प्यूटर का युग शुरू हुआ हिमेश रेशमिया का नाम हिमेश रिमिक्सिया हो गया और पूरी सिस्टम ही बदल गई फिल्मों की कहानी संवाद और कहानी की थीम अंडरवर्ल्ड के आसपास ही बनने लगी और पुरे का पुरा बॉलीवुड अंडर वर्ल्ड के आधीन हो गया पूरे बॉलीवुड में पाकिस्तानी गायक का राज हो गया जैसे की भारतीय गायक गाईका में अब कोई टेलेंट ही नही बचा गीत संगीत के शौकीन लोगो को उस जमाने का संगीत सुन ने के लिए और कोई विकल्प ही नही रहा
