Started off @34 degrees. Mount Nebo loop via Goshen Canyon - all tarmac. (well, I had to sneak down one trail)

Love the pictures. I too enjoy doing longer loops in the local canyons on My 2007 DR200se that's set up as a mini ADV bike , complete with Ricochet engine guard, Slipstreamer fairing & a Givi hard case on the rear rack. It came with a nice sounding DG muffler , but I prefer a quieter stock one. Being Stealthy gets me closer to wild critters along the backroads without spooking them, like Deer & Cow who'll sometimes run at you. What tires do you prefer? I'm gonna try some IRC GP-1 tires.RIDE ON BROTHER !

Right now l’m running an IRC TR8 Battle Rally front & the Tusk DSport rear … but I’m about ready for a new set & I’m undecided, maybe Kenda Trackmasters, Michelin AC10s or the popular Pirelli MT21 & Michelin D606 combo. 🤷🏻‍♂️ BTW, the wife is putting around on a ‘13 DR200se - fun moto.

DR200 vs the XT250 comparison video??? I would love to here your thoughts in a video comparison on these two bikes. I currently ride a DR650 and love it, however I am thinking about adding a smaller lighter bike that gets better mileage. Considering these two or maybe a TW200.

My 2 older brothers have had Tw200s for about 10 years now, good little bikes. I bought a XT250 in 2010 brand new, no problems except fork rebuild because of leaking seals. It has almost 11000 miles, mostly off paved road through the New Mexico high desert. They are both great bikes but my older brothers have both told me they would like to have an Xt250. I am sized perfectly for it at 5 foot 8 and 145 lbs.

Hey, do you like the zeta foot brake? I ordered the zeta shifter from Japan, haven't received it yet. How's the durability? I bent the oem shifter and foot brake, and they are already sized for small feet so they need upgrading!

I like it - seems stronger. I like the shifter too. They are not cheap, but they feel good and you need to be super comfortable with your foot controls.

hello Nice video with the xt250. how many times have you adjust the valve clearance so far?

800 miles 4000 miles 7000 miles will at 10,000 miles ... and then every 3K miles after. They've always been in spec and never have had to be adjusted by the way.

@@XT250allday thank you so much for the reply, Yamaha engineering is superb. I’ve read about someone who rode an xt250 87,000 kilometers from Australia to the Netherlands and did not adjust the valve clearance. Hope for more videos on the little xt.

@@JMT1987 if nothing else, the XT250 is durable, that's for sure. Just got back from a little jaunt in snow and mud, all kinds of fun.

@@JMT1987 i had my valves checked on my 2009 xt250 after the initial 750 mile break in period in 2011. I didn't check the valves again until yesterday with nearly 11,000 miles. The intake needed minimal adjusting and the exhaust was fine! The bike has had no problems, but I did have to replace the fork seals and bushings when it started leaking oil. Been trying to catch up on maintenance lately! Love this bike!
