I’m surprised how quick the rams move. How long have you had this for and how many parts have you replaced?

Gets the job done. Thinking of getting one next week. If I can get 200 hours out of it without blowing up that would be a good start. Comes with 5 attachments very handy for small property

Did you end up buying one?

Have you still got this? How is it getting on? Can you get parts for them? Would it be possible to have a quick chat with you about it?

Will be taking delivery of one of these in a few weeks, this one will have a swing boom. £6.500 including, not bad ....

What these like pulling up concrete or tarmac ?

At the end of the day, for what this cost, it would be the same as paying a labourer for 3 1/2 months in wages, then anything after that is a bonus

Pushing it fairly hard and wasn’t being careful. I hate the sound of the engine but it’s not lacking any power

@@plumbteam I haven't used one of these, although I'll probably being getting one soon but, a perennial and inescapable problem with light machinery is their weight. It's convenient as hell to have a light machine in terms of moving it around (in terms of hauling and accessing tight areas) but, when digging and applying force, you're going to get a lot of movement because the mass of the machine + stabilizer pads (if it has them) is always on the lower side vs the mass of the material you're moving and their breaking strength. I haven't used a mini this small but, I've used non-self propelled diggers and you run into the same problem. You just can't get around the vector equations for force without lifting and shaking but, if you can live with the movement, it definitely rivals 2 or 3 guys digging by hand time wise, especially depth wise. It's a ballance between a bunch of factors and a tradeoff. It's definitely not a Case Backhoe but for the pricepoint and speed...

Well you’ve had a sheltered career driving big and comfortable machinery. The little ones are wild, this one is overpowered for its size, not much counterweight, ram power throws them around, it’s fun, it’s like riding a bull. Hard on the kidneys tho.
