On the way to Xishuangbanna, we passed by a roadside market teeming with an array of fruits and delicacies. Taking advantage of this break, Axia decided to explore this Dai ethnic market located beside the national highway. The most abundant and conspicuous stalls in the market are those selling various tropical fruits like mangoes, coconuts, custard apples, bananas, and more. There are also many small fruits that Axia had never seen before, tasty and intriguing. Passing by a bamboo weaving shop, the store was filled with all kinds of bamboo baskets, hats, and bags, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the shop owner! Axia picked out many bamboo woven items to take home and gift to her sister! For travelers, a market like this, opened right on the roadway, is also a unique kind of "fueling station"!
