Xiaomi M365 Non charging issue easy fix.

This video is to show a possible resolution for the charging issue on the Xiaomi M365, this was the problem with my one and took 30 minutes to fix, check this fix before tampering with your batteries, any questions let me know. I've also mentioned so preventative maintenance for long term care, a compression cushioning around the cables and BMS will fix future problems that can cause breaks or damage in the scooters life.

Thanks for posting this vid Thomas! I had the exact same symptoms and was pretty down about it, but your video helped me realise that my battery might not be completely trashed after all. If you can believe it, my case turned out to be even simpler than yours - apparently the charging port got dirty, so I cleaned it and it resumed charging again :D That silly port cover is the worst, but need to pay better attention to it from now on. I also fiddled with the wires connecting to the charging port before checking (by just unscrewing the charging port itself instead of the bottom cover), so not sure if that made any difference, but both wires sit pretty sturdy in the port already. Anyway, thanks to your vid I have a working scooter and don't have to take it to someone who can fix it :D Yet.

@@millietoomey4066 hey! Idk, was a long time ago, but with something small like a toothpick and isopropyl alcohol. The bad news though is that in my case the battery did seem to charge initially after that, but later that week died for good. Maybe this was caused by dirty port arcing, or bad battery caused the port to oxidize, or was just a radom coincidence. Got the battery fixed on warranty that week and still going strong!

Hey @pica I have had no issues so far been using it for 10 weeks now, every day, I have additional lights front a rear, and wear a helmet at all times so you look like you should be on the road, I do my best not to give an excuse to pull me over, Im I'm near a police car I will kick the scooter much more so make it look as if I'm not just riding on pull throttle but only when needed. I think the main thing is to just make sure you look safe and are not putting you self at risk and others and they will leave you alone. I'm in Brighton and there is loads of Xiaomi scooters and even a electric scooter shop selling just scooters so it's definitely coming we just need to wait for the law to catch up. It's very backwards in the UK.
