this is so strange ... in the church. maybe you mean that God has created the amazing human body that made martial art possible? Human body is weak, but with martial art and sword, it is more fierce than tigers.

If I recall correctly, the 16th soke (headmaster) of Ono-ha itto-ryu Sasamori Junzo sensei was a christian minister (methodist I believe). He was instrumental in reinstating both kendo and kenjutsu officially during the US occupation following WWII.

Addendum It is notable that among kenjutsu styles, itto-ryu is purely technical whereas others pursue aesthetics, taoist (in-yo) metaphysics or buddhist spiritual enlightenment. Itto-ryu is probably the least ... superstitious for lack of a better word family of kenjutsu styles.

@@Ianmar1 thank you for the reply. In China, and I think it is similar in Japan and Korea, people like to say that as you are Chinese, you must not believe in western God. But it is interesting to see these Japanese combining their iconic tradition with 'the foreign religion'.
@@user-yl9hs1nb5y Thank you for the reply. The martial art is actually very interesting. I hope that in the Heaven, people can have fun with martial art without worrying about hurting each other.
