Those shots are so memorable

I love how the producers are referencing what are popular in y2k japanese culture, i instantly notice how those color sets they have are like the ‘kawaii’ type of anime back then, hello kitty-inspired stuffs like that and i agree with that ‘i love it when a group consisting younger members does a age-appropriately concept’ so far NewJeans and IVE are the only ones that constantly doing concepts that are suitable to their members’ average age, i hope XG can continue like this they suit this more ngl

And they have a lot of minors in their group too yet I've never seen anyone say anything about it being inappropriate for them. So I just find it weird how certain groups are getting criticized while others get off the hook like xg.

Chisa had my toes curving 😍 Her vocals in the pre chorus OMGGG. My fav part is the pre chorus but there's nothing you can't like about this song, it's literally AMAZING

I completely feel what youre saying about Harvey's voice. She fit so well here. Also she had the least lines in this song but she has the presence to make it not feel like it.

XG brought something different to the table again, It is grate that we are here so early in the game :) Last songs were quite rap orientated then here it is more vocal and musical. I'm so excited to see what they will do next. 💙🐺

They do sell physical albums and are incredibly cheap. From their official store, it's like 22€ including shipping from Japan to Europe (!!!). And it's very limited, because they basically only sell from their official store (and i think weverse now as well?) and it sells out FAST. EDIT: Just checked, already sold out on all their official selling points. Thank god I got mine

@@maxwelltyler22 That seems like a stretch, but if true I don't really have issues with 17 yr olds and older singing about anything they want, as long as they're ok with it. It's not like NewJeans, where I can't even enjoy their music because I'm so weirded out they let a 14 yr old sing Cookie. I would even say if it was abundantly clear a very young girl wrote those lyrics here in the U.S. and it was 100% her choice to sing it, there might be a way to do it without exploiting her, but I don't have much faith in the music industry to handle something like that appropriately.

Yes, previously I was obsessed with the rap line, and only knew their names, but with this. Mannnnnn, Chisa, And the other two really made their presence known. They were like, naw, you’ll know our names too, we’re just as great. Damn, EVERY SINGLE MEMBER IS FIRE. This is a GROUP!!!

Probably another thing why they are western influenced is because their producer Simon Jakops, who used to be a Kpop idol himself, is a Japanese who grew up in the US. Simon himself is hiphop-rnb influenced. He's a composer. If you'll watch Xtra XG, Simon is like a father to the girls.

What XG does is always a challenge. They've released 4 songs since their debut, but all of them are distinctive, and you can see that they're all completely different concepts. Every time I hear their new song for the first time, I've been disappointed in a good way. At this point, I think XG and its creators probably don't care about how many views their music videos get or how many songs they sell.

Oh, when Tippy Toes dropped, Cocona and Maya were only 16 (turning 17 that year), and Juria was 17 (turning 18 that year) so you're not too far off. Chisa, the oldest, was 20 when Tippy Toes dropped, followed by Hinata, Jurin, and Harvey, who turned 20 later that year. ^^

Shooting star is their best so far....I'm obsessed,... So addictive

Lastest songs of Xg are all from Korean director. (Mascara:범진 from vmproject/Tippy Toes: 정누리 from K.W.U-Cosmo) And the style is not inspired by Tokyo, the concept of styling is Y2k fasion, it's just a recent trend style orginated from Western high teen fasion. Plus, performance direating & visual creativers&other staffs are a bunch of Koreans. Xg's Company in Korea is still hiring Korean staffs for A&R, marketing, visual directors.
