Zoe actually showed that she was told to do Pink for the audition song not a different song. She explained what the producers said versus what she tried to arrange ahead of time so she was thrown under the bus to look like an idiot on TV. I thought she was a nut but after seeing her side of things, she was a pawn for ratings. Think about it, everyone was talking about this for months and months and ratings went way up.

Same! But I was a judge it would be hard to judge sometimes... some people have this dream, that they ate never going to accomplish... I can't bring people down. That would be the hard part of judging for me.

I think she may actually be Tina Turner's spirit animal. The minute she came onstage you knew she was gonna do Tina, but she had to start off with that ring-a-ding bollocks for her home crowd. Then Gary obligingly stopped her and she could do Tina finally. So she gets a clip giving her two bites of the cherry for her gigs back home in HK. Pretty smart. Still a fucking shockingly awful singer though, but it might surprise discerning audiences like yourselves to find out how little people care about that sort of thing in general.
