Unspoiled cause I never had interest in the game or series until last night

Interesting detail is that the first "while my flame still flickers" sounds hopeless, Mio has no choice but to accept her death in three months despite wanting to live while the second sounds determined, Mio wants to find a way to live and is willing to keep fighting if it means she can live to see even one more day than she normally would

Seeing Mio in the trailer, I was already interested in her character. Playing the game now, I can confirm that she's my favorite in the party. I really like her personality. I'm not yet done with the game as of this comment but I'm really enjoying Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I wasn't a big fan of the series but this definitely is becoming one of my favorite Switch game so far.

Mio’s story is going to make me bawl like a baby, i’m calling it now.

@@ot9523 No, it just means Nintendo stories tend to reach on emotions as they are theme-driven, PlayStation’s usually are plot-driven, Square Enix is character-driven. All valid ways to tell stories anyway. Mother 3 is a prime example of Nintendo’s storytelling heights pertaining to themes and how it drives home emotion.

Pretty good spotlight on Mio, I like her as a character so far.

Mio is definitely and totally Amazing, Beautiful, Incredible and Fantastic in this 3rd Xenoblade Chronicles game! I'm already loving her Music!

The second I saw Mio everything related to her reminded me about Nia from XC2. I mean they look almost identical lol. The characters are looking really good so far! I have been waiting 5 years for this lol.

I got xc2 a few weeks ago off my mate and I just got to ch.6. thought I could finish it before I got xc3, but I was wrong.

Every line and song in this trailer hits way different now that I've finished the game

Man Mio is such an amazing character, she's definitely my favorite member of the xeno 3 party I just absolutely love her so much!

I had recently gotten Xenoblade 1. I have sunk in 35hrs already and enjoying it. Then I also have to play Xenoblade 2, eventually, and I just picked up Live A Live. So many games to play, so little time between work and family stuff. Still finding some time here and there though!!!

X2 is a little weird - when first game has (sometimes) too many tutorials on the menu list, X2 at the same time has NOTHING, ofc there are tutorials in the game but you can see them only ONCE, at the moment when they are presenting new mechanics.

You should be fine playing this first if you want. It's pretty much a self contained story with new characters, but will contain many callbacks to 1 and 2. I'd say just go for it and play the previous two if you enjoy it.

@@tomdaturtle5792 I'm 90% sure that the review that said 150 hours was a completionist run, and Nintendo Life said in there review it took about 80 hours to beat the main story which is more inline with how long 1 and 2 where.

Alot. Xenoblade 3 is essentially the final part of the trilogy. Whilr ost possible to jump in without knowing the rest of the games. It will have more impact if one have played 1 and 2 first.

Ever since this game was first announced, I have always thought this was the girl from XC2. I just recently found out that Nia was in XC2 and Mio is in XC3. The two are so similar that I thought they were the same person.

The greater good...

i can see this title making xenoblade 3 the game to buy on switch. and the franchise that competes with final fantasy directly. the way theyre building these battles and story always have the weight of something greater than a normal game while watching it. Like the way you feel watching dune or star wars... i feel that substance here with this title 10x more than i did with the first game. the first game dumps you off too soon with the fetch quests. mark my words, this game will spawn a xenoblade chronicles online mmo that is somewhat similar to the old phantasy star online back when that was epic.

I'm about to do 6 months of sidequests in that 3 months.

Funny thing is although this is the story of the people and world in Xenoblade chronicles 3 it totally relates to the world we are living now, where some hidden forces are toying with everybody lives on this planet. And the sad thing is nobody notices how we as a human race are toyed with and hypnotized to believe we are free when we are entrapped by a few of our kind who are doing this for just mere laughs greed and more power.

Tomorrow cannot come fast enough. Even then, I probably won't get the to see the game in stores because they will be sold out.
