SPOILER Xena later learns that this town was stuck in a time loop, because of a deal that a pair of star crossed lovers made with Cupid to ensure that they could be together forever instead of getting a Romeo and Juliet ending (even though the town having two big feuding families at each other's throats was kind of based on Romeo and Juliet) so as long as Xena failed to prevent the woman from drinking poison, time would not move forward and the day would continuously repeat itself, and Xena ultimately had to use ancient arithmetics to calculate the proper rebound angle of her charkam to stop the woman from drinking the poison in time

For some reason this episode springs to mind quite often, it's one I never forgot....almost like it keeps repeating....hmm :-?

I like how near the end Gabrielle is like "Ima just done with her crazy antics. Ima just sit here now."

This scenes were pretty hilarious especially where she ends up killing him and going back to sleep also the part where she tries them up and the part where she tries to recite everything she has gone through 🤣🤣🤣🤣

BroliYTwins It wouldn’t help you in anyway tho. All you’ll learn would be that day’s lesson not more than that. You’ll get bored as everyone will be doing the same shit always. You can do a lot to others and get away with it but you won’t be able to take any lessons from that day as everything will be the same.

BroliYTwins Give me an example where today’s events will help you everyday if they were repeated...you won’t have the money that you get the next day. You won’t have any resources whatsoever. The people will be living and doing the same thing everyday. I’m sure it’ll be fun the first couple of days but after that you’ll get bored from living as every event is same and you won’t keep anything from the previous day other than book knowledge and skills. You can fuck everyday, rob a bank everyday, kill someone everyday if you want to then they’ll be alive the next day, and learn a lot of things everyday without worrying about something unpredictable. But then what? Isn’t that living a lie where you know how everything is going to be today before you even leave your bed? You know what happens everyday and that’s boring. It’s like watching a movie more than once. It won’t be exciting or interesting every time.

BroliYTwins And after you’re done with all of them? What will you do? It’s not like you’ll have another day to tell the tales. If you learn a language, you won’t be able to use them in another country as long as you can’t travel or know people. What will they do for you? Cooking is at least something you could do everyday where you’ll eat different food everyday. But if you try to travel, your day will be over before you have the chance to see another place. If you live in the U.S for example, you won’t be able to visit Europe and speak French that you learned your time loop days. So learning and never doing/speaking isn’t gonna do anything. You’ll only eat and stay at the same place for the rest of your life seeing the same people everywhere.
