Can I just say how well done this episode was! I love how they had “Xena” and “Gabrielle” kiss....Even though it was through a mans body... we knew... It was beautifully done. Made my heart feel things. Then of course we got a kiss in the final season, yay

I know for a us Xena fans WE know but the acting was underrated in this show.

The final scene is so Lucy! 😂😂😂

Although Xena is in Harry's body, when Xena asks Gabrielle what she remembers....and ALL the images are of Xena and Gabrielle through various scenes of their life together...there is no mistake this is Xena and Gabrielle...and X calling Gabrielle a friend...then kissing her - Shows they were partners, and a couple and DID figure it out back in the previous life.... ;)

That had to be hard for Annie. Annie shouldn't be ashamed of being Joxer in a past life, Joxer was a very good person.

Joxer was awesome. Even though he wasn't a good fighter, he protected Argo and came for Xena and Gabrielle against Callisto when they needed him. It takes a lot of courage and bravery to fight for your friends when you know you don't even stand a chance.

I loved this episode just for the simple fact that we ALL knew Xena and Gabrielles relationship was more than just friendship. So with Xena and Gabrielles reincarnated self's realizing who they were in past life then kissing. They weren't kissing as Harry and Mattie, they were kissing as Xena and Gabrielle! So we got our Xena/Gabrielle kiss/declaration just unfortunately in a heterosexual way...but if this had been now I swear no undertones wld have been needed!!

TV restrictions in the 90s let me get this right and just so u know im not dumping on what Xena does I love her. It's ok for Xena to call people basterds it's ok for her to blow fire into people's faces but its NOT ok for her to kiss Gabrielle yeah that makes sense.... NOT

What if in this episode it was Harry who thought he was Xena in a past life, but then they find out it was actually Annie? So in the end Annie ends up with Mattie!

Actually, if I am correct, it's Joxer in Xena's modern body and Xena in Joxer's modern body. So really... Joker watched Xena and Gabrielle kiss.

Is Xena / Gabrielle a couples because in the present day it look like they re a couples and in the present day does Xena and Gabrielle take over Annie and Mattie body complete?

I forgot how much I hated this episode, I hated almost all the uber episodes though, they always contradicted actual canon, and never had any character growth, it just pushed the narrative of no other characters but Xena and Gabrielle matter, ugh. but I DID love Ted's acting in this episode, he never got enough credit

Unpopular opinion time: Harry should have stayed with Annie. Xena and Gabrielle are both dead and what happened thousands of years ago should have had no barring on their current relationships now. Currently Mattie and Harry are strangers to each other while Harry just leaves Annie after having been together for years. It's just sad. I know Annie gave her blessing but still... I know people will disagree or say this confirmation that Xena and Gabby were an couple and I understand that but they could've acknowledged it and then have an whole, "That was then and this is now." But that's just my unpopular take. The performance of Ted and Lucy was amazing in this episode.
