I have to admit, I've never ever played an XDrum before! So it was about time for a little cooperation with Musikhaus Kirstein's inhouse electronic drums brand, et voila: There's the DD-670 e-kit!
The sound module & e-cymbals are not triggering on a Roland v-drums level obviously, yet there's some cool sounds on the module, and the pads play & feel really nice. Overall this kit is HUGE for the price, it also comes with a hardware set. Will I hook up the pads to a Roland TD-17 module in the near future? Chances are pretty good I'd say...

14" SD
10" tom pads
14" floor tom
2x 14" crash cymbals (dual zone + choke)
1x 14" Ride cymbal (3-zone)
13" Hihat controller
XDrum sound module, cabling & accessories
HiHat stand, snare stand, foot pedal, cymbal & tom stands

Hey this seems like a decent entry. I just checked and RRP is £850. That’s really decent and triggering seems good too. Sure the sounds ain’t VST level but you can’t expect that as this price point. Besides, as I’m sure it’s got midi, VST can be triggered later on. But for its level, sounds are good.

Hey Matt, thank you so much, sure I still do lots of videos, that's my main daily job actually 🙂 You gotta subscribe to digitaldrumming so you keep up with new material, I've been super busy producing loads of videos for other companies since I quit working for drum-tec last year. As mentioned in one of the other comments, there are several exciting new coops that will eventually bring up incountable electronic drums videos later this year ;-D Kind regards!
