I’m so happy I’m not the only one who noticed this. All the lobbies I played in yesterday were a sweat fest (in pubs btw) and I was struggling to do anywhere near as good as I always do but then I check score board and it’s like all the decent players are on their team and my entire team aside from me is negative. Didn’t matter the game mode or pubs vs ranked it’s like the matchmaking expected me to be good enough to carry I’d say I’m above avg but no where near carrying my team level.

Yeah I go into firing range P90 kills in 4 bullets to the head, but I feel like I'm putting 20 bullets into someone and they don't die. I haven't tried Cleaners might have to try them out been trying phantom to get that extra 20hp

Wierd, I feel the exact same. I'm dying so fast right now and it feels like all enemies can tank 10+ bullets. First I was thinking that I jsut suck and need to step up my game again, and now I'm leaning to some network issue. So glad I'm not the only one experiencing this.

The only reason I'm even still playing it is the fact that I stupidly bought the battle pass. Tired of the unpredictable damage of the guns to the same shit that was supposed to be patched out. The fun part is getting killed with no one around.

I agree, my buddy and I tried out ranked last night. We aren’t amazing players by any means but it felt like no matter what we do we could not kill tje enemy team. They just kept bunny hopping and we would always get them below 10 health. Makes me mad when I do more damage than someone and they somehow had way more kills than me. Something is off

Ive been playing a lot of ranked since it dropped and I definitely have noticed a drastic increase in the sweatiness. I have also been noticing a ton of cheaters, too. like, people blatantly walling in ranked. I really feel like they need to remove the air strafing as it exists in its current form. being able to change direction in mid air on a whim just makes it impossible to predict ones movements and track them, so gunfights are basically who can keep up with the others cracked out air movment before someone drops.

Exactly the same thing that's happened to me on pc on mnk. People fly across the screen half the time and they're able to shoot you faster. It's some sort of netcode issue and it gives even more advantage to people cheating.

This right here, I play mnk but when I tell you the netcode is terrible I got fiber, it’s not a skill issue, just dysync terribly. Also “ping is king” yet ping is crazy ranging from 15ms to 60ms. I really wanna like this game but I force it if it want put together properly

0 ping in Fortnite and 2 in rocket league and the list goes on, I have the highest in Xdefiant by a high margin

I've just started playing this - I'm a casual gamer who doesn't normally play this kind of bunny hop, slide, crouch, repeat game. I'm more tactical. But, the first few levels were entertaining and I was able to get to a point where I wasn't dying all the time. So I bought the premium pass. I wish I hadn't. I went past level 25 and suddenly I'm in servers dominated by people who are so far ahead of my level it's nuts. Going onto servers which are constantly dominated by people ranging from level 80 to level 133 (in the server I was just on). This is NO fun at all. I'm not skilled, I'm the first to admit that. And this is why it's bad to force people to play on unranked servers where they're just wasted all the time. Why bother playing when I just keep having to respawn all the time because the top 2 or 3 on a server just walk right over me! I'm gonna have to keep playing until that bloody pass runs out. I'm not throwing that money away. Then, unless something drastic has happened to my skill level, I'll be dumping this game! I would suggest that the Devs have an option in servers to either have no SBMM so you can play against all players regardless of their level, or the opposite, an option to limit the players on a server to similar skill/player levels. I do understand the reason that the top players want no SBMM, it must be maddening to look for a game and sit there for an age waiting for similar ranked players. But the vast majority of gamers never reach that level.

I went through the same phase and it passes. Level doesn't always equal skill in this game. But lately I have been playing a lot of level 1-40s in my lobbies, I'm level 111 currently

Just saw the video and this struck a cord with me. To be honest, I think it is a multitude of factors screwing with the game all at once. For one, every other match, this is unranked, feels like a slot machine with how the hit detection works. Some times it's crystal clear, others you just can't get a kill. I have encountered way more cheaters than at the launch of the game, most are blatant, probably some I didn't even know about. I'll get Delta-24's at least 2-3 times in a 1-2 hour session. Some guns feel terrible compared to others *cough cough* MP5 *cough cough*. And a lot of the sights in the game are off. When you shoot at a wall at various distances, the bullet doesn't line up with the reticle or iron sight, even up close. There's just so much going against you to succeed, which I assume gets compounded in ranked. I really think they did something wrong to the servers when the update dropped, but even before these issues were there, just seemed less. Hope it get's fixed, can't make myself play for more than hour before getting off. To frustrating. Great video btw brother.👍

It’s always so depressing getting the exact same damage count as the enemies, but coming out with 20 less kills and 20 more deaths than their entire team in ranked. Wild that a single crouch or bunny hop can change so much of the game flow

Straight up I thought it was explained clearly and that we all knew, watching the video through I was like what's the deal it sounds like he's just talking about the sbmm and then I got to the end of the video and you said the line something like are they using sbmm and not telling us and I realized that you weren't aware of that fact. @@NyteFalll Personally haven't tried ranked yet myself, honestly it may hit my like a sack of bricks as well, I'm only a 1-1.5 kd player in most cases with some .5 and 2 kd matchs sprinkled in so I've already prepared myself mentally that I'm probably gonna get rolled. I'm sure there's some stuff they could tweak in ranked, they seam to be doing a better than most job at working with the community when we find problems, that's the biggest reason I'm willing to stick it out through the suck. 🤞 Super dope getting to interact with you though man! Ya my ranked experience was bad. 1.the servers felt bad, I felt like my hit dection wasn’t right. I was trying to change up my class every death thinking I my weapon build wasn’t good 2. My teamates keep leaving before the match started and I was playing 3v4 most of the times 3. My teamates were double negative 4. Nobody has mics

Played on ranked when it came out this season, immediately back out after 5 matches and uninstall the game. I don't know how they fucked up the matchmaking in ranked mode but it is just a whole another level of unbalanced MM. first game took me on 4v4 against somehow pro players, my team struggle to get even one kill and they easily get like 40-50 kills from us that the game just ended with mercy rule. It's the same with the next 4 game that i feel frustrated and just done with this game for now. Also from my experience the enemy team always use MP7 and not even acr or ak. Like MP7 for long range and short range. It also ridiculous how they can insta kill me from around the corner and I'm here spending a single magazine just to eliminate one guy. They really need to fix their connection issue asap

Yeah I agree, something feels off since the first season came out. Ive got booted off my game 6 times today. Also for some reason every lobby I was in had a level 100 in it. I backed out of 7 lobbies in a row because I wanted to play with people who don't abuse the movement, i kept getting the same levels. Something is different with the matchmaking than at launch, I swear...

Ok, so I'm a player from the Bahamas 🇧🇸 and I'm by no stretch of the imagination a pro player. Im probably just slightly above average. My best kd in this game was in Zone Control 74-22. The closest I've ever come to that again is about 60 something kills to 20 something deaths. Yesterday, i was playing with a friend, and i really thought we both were tripping. But we both absolutely STRUGGLED to go positive. My friend was 2-20 something at one point. I was positive, but really nothing to talk about 26-18. We continued to have an absolutely shitty night. We were like, "wtf is going on" and just chalked it up to having a bad night. But now i feel there's something else going on. I felt like i couldn't get in the groove at all yesterday. I ended up playing The Decendant instead.

I've hated ranked so far on ps5 playing solo. Lvl 116 here. Was super excited for it too. Teammates quiting out, twice as high ping than yesterday lobbies. Assuming the ping is my culprit on these wonky games I've had of people tanking shots then melting me 😅

I agree with u, feels like the game got a lot harder but thats probably because this game feels just as buggy as it did the first week or two of its launch in my opinion plus all the more skilled players are probably back. I can’t play the game solo anymore like I used to for the last half of the preseason. My suggestion is to party up because most likely you are facing squads of two or three as a solo player

I feel like the game is much harder but I haven’t been getting beaten up too bad. Most often its just me trying to compensate for teammates

No this was my first game lol I'm still in Bronze 0 RP

I biggest issue is NOT the game but players prematurely leaving the match just because we're down on the scoreboard! Countless games a buddy and I had to endure loss after loss simply due to our own team mates just straight up rage quitting. We ranked down and 4 stack teams rank up....I love this game but the experience was just not fun nor competitive. 4 Stack Phantom Meta is cringe and boring aF. Spider Drones seemingly just annoying and OP. Another big gripe I don't see anyone complaining about are the flashbang grenades are THE most annoying implementation of a Flashbang in any FPS game I've ever played. Straight up literally thought my PC froze from getting Flashbang and being Flashbang'd multiple times just takes me out of the groove of the game. Also, is it me or does the game feel even worse after the patch....4v4 and it feels like I'm running through mud. Hit Reg is terrible on Pc for me right now but my ping is low 20's. Before the new season, the game felt like pure butter! Gunplay was crisp but now it feels horrible on Mnk.

Another issue I have is that playing from Australia I get into US and Asia rank games and I can't do nothing to prevent it... I don't mind wait another 3 minutes if I can play with less than 200 ping xD I don't get it why companies take away those simple options like pick a region. Let me fucking choose Ubisoft! And not to mention play normal games, 4 times in a row with low lvls vs 6man stack..... LOL. We don't even have a ping system, so is a 6man vs a blind team. Fun game. Ping-wheel in 2024 could be that complicated to implement...

And we have OCE servers, but when there isn't enough people to put you in a game in like 2 min queue, the game just send us straight away to any other sever in the world xD And I'm not even a long time in queue, like, at least wait a bit more or idk let me know I'll be joining a 200 ping match? Maybe I can decide if I want that or not. But idk, it is what it is, play for OCE sucks in general (at least for games from big companies that never allow this server config or don't give a shit about it)

I noticed something on day one of the season, my first game on i had a player with the name "guest" on my team i didn't think anything of it because ive seen it plenty of times in the pre season i dont know what it means and this player was level 1. Ok so im just playing the match and i notice this guy is running echelon and is using an m4 again nothing to write home about there but i checked the scoreboard and this guy had 27 kills and 2 deaths this match had only been going on for like 2 or 3 minutes and i had seen plenty of enemy players. I noticed the players m4 had double rapid fire on it because of how fast he was shooting did i miss something here? The pre class of the m4 doesnt have muzzle booster and rapid fire on it right??????, or is it this guy being a "guest" was using someone elses account and was just a guest on that account?????? Idk but i found very strange

I’m thinking the Xbox outage messed something up for Ubisoft and Xdefiants end especially since PlayStation oddly enough was having frame rate issues at exactly the same time. Personally I played about 4 hours last night it only felt slightly harder than usual but nothing crazy (I’m about a 1.5kd type player career wise). I also think the career score per minute and skill rating and KD are bugged and not updating as well since the last update Ik for sure cause after my 4 hour session everything stayed the exact same down to the DECIMAL point. So maybe you should make a video about that too I actually think it’s legitimately bugged this time lmao.

I know I read a long time ago "skill-based matchmaking" will happen in ranked mode to keep the games competitive, I wonder when ranked got launched did that filter some way over into casual mode?

Im literally in the same spot. Just above 2k skill rating and the game just feels unplayable from the first week or so when i was under 2k and was dropping 30+ kills. Something is definitely up with the servers or the game engine itself

I think the team balance is also an issue. I constantly go up against teams that have an overall higher level and skill(lvl 100+) while im stuck carrying people that are level 10 and under

This is not even to mention the egrgious issues plaguing the mode. No penalties for leaving early (bans/timeouts), no limitations on the amount of abilities allowed per team (Aches tweeted this change will be coming but not here at launch which is an L), No SR after winning bug, snipers are still blatatnly OP, Domination being in the competitive playlist, attachments and weapons not being unlocked fully in ranked creates almost a pay to win feel considering how good the new AR is, etc. This mode has a long way to go before it's even worth booting up tbh.

So I want to address all of this because you make some good points. The penalty for leaving early in ranked is you lose your RP for that match, in an unranked game there is none. But there does need to be a timeout as well. The faction limit was something we absolutely needed from the start and it's annoying we didn't get it. The no RP after win is only when your dead when the game ends, but that's still a dumb thing to have happen and they dam sure better add RP to the accounts of those that should have gotten it. The pay to win feel, it's more play to win, which sounds stupid, but this has always been my whole issue with unlocking attachments by leveling up. But do you not want Domination in the ranked playlist? This is the first time I've heard that so i'm interested in hearing more

Maybe I'm just a nerd neck too, but I haven't had a problem in ranked. No Delta 24 either

Stg they either turned on SBMM across the board or 75% of the playerbase is cheating because dawg I am in bronze and can't even drop a single kill. MP7's are mapping me in what feels like 2 bullets, people don't miss the head ever apparently and I'm just dying so fast. Similarly to you previous to this update I was dropping 40-50 kill games regularly and had above a 1.5 K/D overall. Cronus/Xim I fear has evaded the anti-cheat and everyone has one plugged in.

you do realize real ranked starts in a week thought right? this first week is more testing on changes in ranked game modes plus new faction. the netcode and errors are a whole issue on itself. But yea ranked isn't technically out yet. Plus you should be getting way less kills because people are playing more OBJ and there is 2 less people per team.

Bug where if your dead when game ends you don't get RP. Hopefully they can add it when they fix it because you earned it.

But it's not just ranked it's the same in unranked all day I've been trying to just play through it and I can't just constantly going negative or just barely positive

@@NyteFalll I understand your frustration. I go negative every game lol. I think it's just a lot of good players out here. I also think they have pro controllers because the amount of crouch jumps while still aiming doesn't make sense to me. I also have cross play on.

@@NyteFalll it’s been balancing out. I give it till Monday and it should be balancing out. However, after a crazy losing streak in ranked. I got on pubs this morning and crushed the games. I think the lack of placement games really botched the launch.

I know you're not complaining about MNK players who have no aim assist lmao. Literally ALL the top players right now are on controller.

I think you’re in your own head. My pub skill rating is 3418 with a 1.9 kd and 650+ SPM. I’m level 104 btw. If you’re looking to increase your KD, then focus on slaying and forget the OBJ. Your skill rating will plummet though.

@@NyteFalll idk man. Gotta take into account everything; modes, weapons, factions/abilities, grenades, speed of your play, what your teammates are running, etc… Still think you’re just beating yourself up. Ppl don’t get better or worse overnight.

Ranked will be full of meta freaks, cheaters and cracked ppl. Since there’s no mmr of skill based matchmaking, season starts with only those kind pf ppl, chill for a week as you said, then most of those ppl will be high ranking

@@NyteFalll on pc with m&k, unranked seems fine at least, although ppl are starting to use mostly phantoms/dedsec and acr/mp7 cuz of the ranked meta that is forming. At least no1 is spamming the m16 😆

Omg. It is broken. I played some matches. 1-5. One match felt good won went positive. Rest of the matches went horribly negative like I can't shoot a barn but yet everyone seems to be lazering me.Nothing worked. Like I have 200 ping and everyone else has fiber. Either it's EOMM or what. Hit detection is awful. Ranked is POS unplayable.

Honestly dude.. i think it might be a skill issue. Think about it.. its still a new games and kids are putting in the time to get cracked and when you throw in a competetive aspekt like ranked, that is only speeding up that process. If you struggle every single game, it seems to me it might be on your end. I am a 32 year old boomer and i have a kd at 2,0. Im not the best at all, but i am well above average. I played cod for a long time and i could barely brake 1,0 kd because sbmm is designede to try to keeep you around 1,0 maybe even a bit less. No hate though, have a nice day

I'm in the same boat lol I'm 31 K/D currently at like 1.6 or something but it's not just ranked its in unranked too, and by that logic all the sweats and comp players would be in ranked. It just doesn't make sense for me to be playing zone control and getting 40-60 kills to struggling to get 20-30 just like that. And other people have stated the same thing as well. I don't think it's just me, but I don't think it's everyone because I still see the occasional person going off. But it's usually my whole team is struggling to stay positive, no matter how many kills we get and then the enemy team has 2 players going like 40-15 something isn't right.

Normally I would say your right, but I never had any problems with it before. And even after I switched to ACR and even tried the AK later on in the day it doesn't matter I still barely get like 20 kills. If you have a better weapon build by all means put me on but I really don't think it's the gun something more is happening

Video is structured super weird, so i don't know what your main point is. If the issue is ddos attacks ruining ranked, then yeah that sucks and hopefully gets fixed somehow. Its not cross play according to you, but you brought it up anyway. Complaining that its all acr is dumb because that's how a meta works. Honestly sounds like you just had a bad day or you're readjusting to your loadout after trying new guns. Overall sounds like a skill issue.

Okay so my main point is that I originally thought ranked was just full of cheaters. So I tried turning cross play off because if i'm only playing with console players the likelihood they are all cheating is super low. So I ruled that out, so something more is going on with the game because it's even outside of ranked. It was like a switch was flipped and now I can't get kills or anything from 40 kills a game to barely 20 doesn't make sense even in unranked. But as for the meta, I know that's how it works, monkey see monkey do. I hate that weapons need to be balanced so that there is no "meta" that type of stuff ruins games and makes it not fun for casual players. Call it a skill issue or me whining all you want, but so many people are experiencing the exact same thing.

for xbox players , xbox dont let you disable crossplay

@capitalvl8 it 100% does because I'm an Xbox player. Just go to settings-account-privacy and online safety-xbox privacy-view details and customize-communication and multiplayer. The second option on the screen is cross network play and you can block it.

Honestly I put it down I’m not as good as I was . this game is not for casuals and the casuals have started to leave once all the casuals are gone who’s left ? They can say skill issue all they want. That’s cool. I guess kind of weird but at the end of the day, I got better things to do than to sweat after a shift I play games to relax PvP just don’t feel the same ( and that’s mainly because it’s a different time it’s all about skill this and meta that ) just play something different and enjoy yourself

Yeah, i've heard FPS drops on PS5 that sucks. I have Xbox and PC and while I'm not dropping frames on either, it still feels like I can't kill anyone on either one.

Solo had absolutely no right in xdefiant, and ubi don't care solo

I shouldn't be laughing but yeah, you knew that IBMM would be dissabled in ranked. so yeah your kinda f'd for not competing against KB&M players in Pubs. I have crossplay on and IBMM off and the chances of me ending up in a lobby with controller players is maybe 15% or lower, but that said it's almost criminal how easy they are.

@@NyteFalll Why complain at all. It's ranked. It's going to be sweaty. That's kind of the point 👉 The bugs happen in all lobbies and not just ranked, also. The game is balanced but if your team doesn't play the objective and support eachother then you will get run over. That's a part of ranked.

I average 34 kills/game 1.5 k/d. No I'm not saying I'm the best but I'm well above average. It's hard to see what mistakes I'm making when I was playing 2 days ago dropping 60 kills with ease on zone control games, then just like a switch was flipped, can't drop more than 20 but playing with the same loadout, faction, and playstyle. Idk if your trolling but if you check the rest of the comments you can a lot of other people are having the same issues.
