yeah that one cracked me up

I had the T4 for 3yrs and it stills works great I use the turbo function for games like God Of War and Heavenly Sword or Metal Gear rising it comes in handy because I can't tap buttons as fast and gets tired of doing it.

I still have the controller, but they have a newer version upgraded, but with no LED oights it's call the Gamesir T2A it looks and feels like an Xbox One controller that can connect to Xbox one etc. It awesome I own 1 and it's really good quality, but imo it's a bit of a step down from the the T4 in terms of design and options.

How abot racing games, can we half throttle on RT button?

FYI, though there's no software to program the four buttons under the controller, they are designed to run macros. The macros are programmed as follows: Configurable Buttons The M1-M4 buttons at the backside are configurable.Steps for configuration: 1. Hold M1 then press START or BACK. 2. Hold the keys (A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT) you want to combine. 3. Press M1 again. (M2, M3, M4 have the same settings as M1.)

Does this means that I am not able to use M1,M2,M3,M4 to Hold A for example? I have been trying to make M1 work like a normal A button But even when I am Holding M1 it only register as a fast A button press. In oder words I can only do I quick jump but not a long jump.

@@nakinr1804 I just got this controller today and ran into the same thing. The instructions threw me off. What I did is hold M1, press back, then release both. just tap A, then M1 to set it. Now I can hold down M1 and it stays down until I release it.

I also noticed that GameSir T4 doesn't have a 3.5 mm headphone port. I used to play with Xbox One controller on PC, in my friend's home. And let me tell you: the ability to use a headphone connected to your controller is a real game changer!

You're 100% correct. My reviews are a bit more "PC Centric", so most PC gamers already have their headset connected to the motherboard or DAC. ;)

@@5WTech Yes but if you already have a wired headphone, and don't want to fork over some extra money over a wireless headphone, then that Xbox controller 3.5 MM jack, is a life saver (Or better say money saver). Don't need it to be an elite one, or even the new Xbox Series controller. Even the cheaper Xbox One controller would do the trick nicely. But the only thing to consider is: The model that my friend used, had the wireless PC Adapter included in the box.

Not sure if you're gonna reply but which one would be better the T4 pro or the G4 pro? Which one feels better in terms of the feel in hand, the face buttons, the triggers? I have a gamepad called the ipega 9099 and while it have served me well for over two years, the face buttons have heavy actuations that tires my fingers after a while and the triggers are also a bit heavy. I have been looking for a replacement for that but I can't justify forking over hundreds of dollars for an original xbox controller since I still mainly use m&k for games on pc. But I do own a lot of action games on steam and those games feel right with gamepads so yeah. I'm also thinking of the logitech gamepads but that one seems kinda old, but people have said that it holds up for years.

The t4 works on pc with games that would only work with xbox 360/one controller? I mean, the majority of games only recognize xbox controllers on pc...

Am using a gamesir T4 and is very happy with it. It looks great, works painlessly, cheap and comfy. I have no problem with the big receiver..just stuff it in the back of the pc and forget about it. However, the manual should be in English too.

do you know if the t4 works on an xbox one?

I have had 2 different Gamesir gamepads in the past. Both suffering from a notable "dead zone" in the center of the analog sticks (perfect analogic control on the Microsoft gamepad instead). Not a big deal with action games, but rather uncomfortable with simulation driving games. How about this T4? Many thanks.

I mostly play FPS games, but I've never felt at a disadvantage using the controller. I can see the controller wearing out faster than the Xbox but then again you could buy 2 or 3 of them for the same price:)

I recently started playing Asseto Corsa with T4 pro, I tested the sensibility on both joysticks and triggers, found NO Hardware deadzone, I'm really amazed! But strangely, when playing a precise game, there is a noticeable 3-5% deadzone with minimal roll. I don't know how to fix it however, but it seems to be a software deadzone, only seem in the game!

Windows 10 supports up 8 controllers plugged in. As far as wireless you'd have to reach out to the GameSir for more info.

The only dumb questions are the ones that don't get asked. :) For the back buttons you'll have to check in game settings on individual games or check and see if there are any other 3rd party software. REWASD had nothing at the time but may have updated things with the release of the new T4 Pro.

I play GTA v on my iPad Pro but find I cannot use the 2nd menu to select CEO or MC etc. All that happens when I hold the button as I would on the Xbox controller is my iPad takes a screenshot. I can find no setting on the iPad or the controller to remedy this and I like everything else about this controller other than that? Anyone found a solution?

For the T4, the T4pro which is a later version buttons can be remapped manually. Not on a software but on the gamepad itself. I dont know why the t4 doesn't have that

Probably because they improved it. Don't think you can buy the T4 regular anymore. I reviewed the G4 which is a great controller as well with tons of features! You can check that video out as well! Cheers!

i just connect my t4 pro without usb dongle... just use bluetooth.. hold home button + B button. then it'll detect x box controller.. its running great.. then u must exit steam acc.. otherwise itll become worst to control

After gaming on a keyboard and mouse it's hard to consider any controller as "precise". If I had to I'd say it's pretty good for a budget one.

That is correct. The older T4 does NOT work with Xbox at the time the video was made. Since the T4 model has been replaced by T4 Pro and multiple updates being done to Xbox platforms. Your best bet is to check the new versions.

Depends how far you want to sit from your screen? It's' 2.4ghz so it's good. You can't really sit too far away from a screen though. right? ;)

So, the xbox elite controller, which costs 179,98 € (at least series 2 does), doesn't come with an internal rechargeable battery, like the GS t4 (or the standard xbone controller) does? lol.

I personally don't like internal rechargeable battery, one because if it breaks or isn't good anymore you have to disassemble it to change, and also because when energy gets low you have to stop gaming. On the other side with external rechargeable batteries you can just replace them. And BTW, my standard Xbox One S controller didn't come with internal battery, are they sold like that where you live?

Have you tested on Android? Specifically in COD mobile, I was trying to do it but I couldn't. Only with mapping app and it's not very good because it work with input lag

Looks like the FPS games restrict usage of controllers. Even with the new G4 that I reviewed which is designed for mobile doesn't work. It would give people a crazy advantage in mobile.

How's the triggers of the T4 though? I purchased the T1S Enhanced Edition gambling on it but unfortunately both triggers had different pressure sensitivity actuations making it not really ideal for racing games or flight sim games. I used to have legitimate X360 and DS3 gamepads and the triggers of the legit gamepads compared to Gamesir was like day and night.

Your milage will vary. How often you play, alternate back to keyboard and mouse, etc... It's pretty durable IMO.

TankTopTech I do play FPS with a controller casually but when it competative I turn to mouse and keys, which is hardly. I play probably around average 3 hours a day, daily, but probably go around 7 to 8 hours on a free weekend, but ever since summer started, everyday's been a free weekend.

Can you use either controller as a mouse to control your computer, not just games?

Bought it like a week ago, yet whenever I turn off my desktop and turn it later on the controller can not see the dongle unless I remove it and plug it again. NOTE THAT I HAVE TRIED ALL THE PORTS !! Any recommendations!!

You could try to do a windows update and see if that corrects any of the usb driver issues. If not I'd reach out to GameSir directly. Maybe it's a faulty dongle.

Since the rumble we had gyro, it's perfect on Nintendo consoles and it's already there in playstation games but not used as often as they should be, therefore it's not available in Xbox controllers despite the fact they use the gyro in xcloud lol Microsoft not adding a gyro in the new series controllers was such a huge disappointment, we could have had native gyro support on PC and stuff like that but nah .... not even a battery.

Hold LT, RT, R3 simultaneously then press up or down of D-pad to adjust lighting. The lowest level is light off among 5 levels of lighting.

The rumble pack on the Elite feels less forced and smooth. But I doubt you'll notice when you're deep into a gaming session.

I have Gamesir G3s controller and I love it, it's light and fit to my hand and comfortable. But a few months later, the L2 and R2 button get broken I'm curious and then disambbly it and tadaaa L2 and R2 button have a bad structure design and i think that tiny plastic pin is easily to broken. I hope somebody will dissasambly this T4 so I can decide to buy it or not as a replacement of G3s

In my case the RB of the Xbox One S isn't working properly, sometimes when I press it, the input is not recognized. And on my GameSir T1S the left analog stick feels fine, but it keeps pushing up, and down isn't recognized.

You say it's so great yet i see so much room for improvement! I had a ipega & i really liked it but it only takes one pet peeve on a controller to ditch it for another! My issue was the a,b,x,y buttons being to small. I see they have reminded that quite a bit on the T4. but 2 things that really bug me about this controller is... (1) this blue ring just makes no sense! Rings on xbox elite controllers are metal so your not scraping the plastic with the joystick! why this one is a light up blue one just makes no sense to me! I mean if your going for aesthetics you might as well make both rings light up! But still it's just gimmicky! One of the reasons elite controllers feel so nice is the metal ring touching the metal stem of the joy stick. Metal on metal feels a lot better than plastic on plastic. my other issue (2) would be the poorly designed pattles on the back. I personally have not tried the controller but i really do like the led abxy buttons alot! i just wish i could get buttons like this on a quality product like xbox elite series 2 controller!

@GSkyflakes It seems to only work in docked mode. Try this. - Go into your Switch's settings and make sure the Pro Controller option is enabled. - Go into the Change Grip Order menu. - Press HOME on your controller. You should see the indicator blink. - Plug the dongle into your Switch. Remember to press start first before plugging the dongle in. This last part may not be necessary but try it first!

What does turbo mode do

Turbo Mode allows you to set any one button to "Turbo". For example, if you have a game in which you have to spam the Y button, by setting it to Turbo mode, you just hold the button down and the controller registers it as multiple, fast presses. It helps with hand/finger fatigue if you play games that require you to press a certain button many times in a row.
