Helpful video, both of my original xbox controllers have been worn down due to occasional use for 10 years or so. I noticed one of them had their rb bumper fall out first, then about 1 year into my other one its rb fell off as well. I am reluctant to buy new controllers right now because of how expensive one is already. Otherwise I just replaced their worn out joysticks, both bumpers, and a nice cleanup. They looked wonderful and it was fun repairing them. Thank you for this video!

I have a T8 driver but it wouldn't come close to working. Same model. I managed to find get it open and looks like I got it. Thank you

Can you swap bumpers from one controller to another . One of mine has stick drift one doesn’t the other one has no stick drift but left bumper is bad

if they have same exact model then sure , check the model right under the battery is on the sticker in where you place the batteries.

when placing the cover back on make sure you push the RB and LB pushed in.

As long as you ask about what you don't know, you're making progress 🍻. Unfortunately, this video won't solve your problem. You need to replace the tactile buttons with this: amzn.to/3FBm9iD I've also made a few videos on how to replace them. The bumper is not the issue. So you can use the elite controller LB and RB buttons for this model? Because that's what the link is for to buy them to replace.

what you mean if it works?, if your bumper is broken and moves around you will need to replace it, and this is the video on how to replace it. it's no modification or something to be doubtful. if you need help let me know what is wrong with your controller and i can assist you.

It's not broken its just stuck and i can't use lb
