Jez, you say you didn’t expect Cyberpunk to have sandbox aspects but remember the very things you said you weren’t expecting were advertised by CDPR before the games launch, that’s why we were expecting those features and were disappointed to find that the game didn’t have any of it. From in depth wanted systems, to car customisation, to multiple apartments and the biggest issue in my opinion, extensive choices and consequences which the Witcher also featured. All this was expected because they told us it would be there and the disappointment on top of the game being fundamentally broken at launch completely justified our reactions.

Because he doesn't want to be live on Cam. It'll never happen. He has built this up to the point where there is now alotnof pressure on him to do something relatively trivial

If Bethesda just added transition animation for when they need to load assets/areas, like entering big buildings in the cities, train transits or Space travel from planet to planet(galaxy to galaxy) instead having to go on menu to do it, the game already requires an SSD, a lot less people would complain about the game, and some people wouldn't even notice.

Regardless, it's funny that neither of you at least entertain the real possibility that Jim Ryan was ousted due to how he gave major misinformation regarding the ABK deal. Especially since Japan is big on honor and respect and from the leaked docs Jim Ryan has neither. As far as what he has said about leaving, there's a reason why he's known as Lyin' Jim Ryan.

I honestly believe that Jim is stepping down because of Sonys board... I think he's missed internal profit marks... His choice to switch to Gas games...the delay/cancelled factions from its expected release date must've created and lower than expected profit... Also hr may have made some assurance to the board that opposition to the ABK deal was good... It hasn't been for Sony... They exposed themselves to regulators...never a positive thing.

Xbox controller has always had haptics, this is juts advanced haptics like what the Switch has had since it came out. People say they're copying Sony but really Sony was copying Nintendo, even going as far as using the same company that made the rumble motors that the Switch uses.

Crazy that they are axing that Hyenas game before even fully releasing.... I actually got to play a beta for the game on PC. The Beta did not have many game modes and only 2 or 3 maps, but the game did feel very done for the most part. Did not expect Sega to cancel the game

2:06:39 likely the Elwood came out already. It is the 1tb model, it just doesn't have all the features that it originally was slated to. Who knows if the Series X slim will even come out. Silicon is not dropping in price this gen as it has in the past and they may have changed their mind, just keep the same design and shrink the die on the main processor a little to save money.

Great show as always.. And i can absolutely see the next xbox being Arm..or being a combination of nvidia and intel or something else.. Nvidia are proving they're miles ahead of AMD in the key area of AI with DLSS which is undoubtedly the future of the industry.. Getting way more out of the hardware than the hardware is capable of is the name of the game ..Nvidia can get more out.. If nintendo can go nvidia ,theres no reason Microsoft cant and keep costs reasonable. They also use nvidia in their other surface products so they can use that to get better price on console hardware Having a console that has a system wise performance boost like DLSS 4 would be huge and its a huge performance boost that is easy for devs to implement So dont be surprised if the next xbox console isnt AMD based. ARM chips are usually cheaper too And Microsoft is a software company a compatibility layer like valve has itchy that bigger deal for them to make to have back compat

Way too many people just see ARM as "mobile chips", forgetting that Apples M2 max (probably the M2 pro too) would sweep the floor with a Series X (while using half the power). x86 is an old and bloated instruction set whose days are numbered, arm and risc-v are just far more efficient. Also going by what the leak says that they want in next-gen (Ai and better RT) then the obvious answer is Nvidia who are multiple generations ahead of amd in those areas.
