Xaphoon
In my arrangement of the Twelve Days of Christmas, I play a different instrument on each day, but not ordinary instruments. Xaphoon, cello banjo, double ocarina, dan moi jawharp, solicaster, qanun, chordomonica, bass harmonica, sitar, bombard, tongue drum, guzheng, pipa, claviola and burdola. It was a fun challenge figuring out how to make this strange ensemble into fun, listenable music.

Single reeds sound lower than expected!!
"Scoopy reed stuff"....that's the name of that sound I like hearing. Gotta get me one of those things!
Wow, you play it so well! Thanks for introducing the Xaphoon. I‘m thinking about getting a new instrument and amongst others the Xaphoon caught my attention. Ithas a nice earm sound.

discovered you on 12 days of Christmas and became your fan. If you have deep pockets (since you own a pocket sax), you should try Harpejji-it's like horizontally played guitar-the way you already play yours. It's insanely expensive though. Maybe Marcodi company could give you one, you definitely deserve it and you would help them to promote it.

Great playing, but there IS an Eb cross fingering. xxxxxxx0x. You've just got to be careful of how high you hold your ring finger. Too high over the open hole and it tends sharp. Too low and it goes flat. :) I love weird instruments too. I'm subscribing !

Yeah, I misspoke. I think I meant to say there isn't a D flat, between the lowest C and the next D. That Eb fingering you mentioned is there, but it's kind of unstable.
How the hell you make it sound like you're playing beautiful jazz?
