Ridley is often slept on but I as a Ridley main assure you he is a quality character that requires a decent amount of skill to use effectively.

Nothing is more satisfying then seeing a wolf not sure how to approach a match up

Honestly characters like Wolf, Ike, Cloud, and Joker are the exact reason airiel hurt boxes /lagless landing need to be nerfed in the game. Movement freedom is important but There should to be a threat of constantly jumping as an approach/fleeing option.

High level player is an understatement. He's definitely a top level player*. He has beaten Light, Chag, Zomba, Marss and Tweek. Something like Top 50.

The rise of underrated characters in Ultimate is amazing. I can't wait to see what else is in store. Maybe we'll see an Isabelle win a major lol.

The fact that a Ridley pulled this off is serious evidence that this game is fucking beautiful

smub is a hidden boss... he won over dexter, Zd and jakal.. jakal is in the talks for the best wolf in the world and even makes light and tweek sweat... that's how good smub has gotten being able to beat a top level wolf is not a small feat. props to smub and the rest of the players. great games. a lot of nail biters

As a Ridely main this is so inspiring.

@@echospace7347 no he doesn’t lol his weaknesses are so easily exploited and he needs heavy reads to get any kills. Only fatty with low weight and kill power. Ridely players Gotta fight an uphill battle against most decent players. Anyone with a projectile dogs on him cause he’s got zero super armor options unlike say K rool. Seph is a hard counter, Ridely had to play significantly better to take the dub.

It's sadly not as Disjointet. Because he holds his Tail like a Pike. Wich makes it not to good. But it's decently Quick, has good Reach, deals good Damage on sweetspot and can be angled to swat at foes and 2 Frame. It's really damn good beside that one Weakness Wich you have to consider a lot on a poking tool to deal Safe Damage.

@@knucklessg1 dtilt, is a highly disjointed downwards sweep, with massive range, and decent combo potential. It can 2 Frame on hurtbox shifted characters. Dont assume i mix it up, while you are mixing it up yourself. Ftilt is not the Godlike Move, many Ridley players give it credit for. The Massive Coverage, high Damage, Frame 12 Out of Shield Up Smash for Platform Catches is a better Move in my Opinion. Nairs Coverage and back hit Combo potential is also a better Move then F Tilt. The Belmonts and Sephiroths Ftilt are the amazing spacing move, wich Ridley isnt, because of his immense Hurtbox.

can we all just take a second to appreciate that ridley is actually in smash?

As a Ridley main. I am truly impressed by his level of optimized Ridley. I learned so much from watching his gameplay.

I played smub for like an hour in friendlies and couldn't get off the ledge the whole time. Glad to know he can do that to top players too.

I don't know. I love Ridley, but the character has so many massive weaknesses. He's my main, but it seemed like Jackal was way off. He just was not playing his best and clearly does not know the matchup very well. Ridley Wolf is probably even, maybe slightly in Wolf's Favor. Wolf is gimpable, something Ridley excels at, but Wolf has SUCH better air speed, attack options are so much faster and generally harder to punish and Ridley gets juggled by everyone, not least of all a comboer like Wolf.

Since a miracle is done by a persons faith, I'm not sure a "sham hug" or a fake prayer being used for a control group would disqualify a miracle. I don't think a miracle relies so much on the specific prayer but rather from the faith in God of the person believing it.
