Thanks for the info, very helpful! The app was listed under "United Power Bluetooth Notification" and it pared it nicely. Calling/Answering works perfectly. I can read texts in the notifications app, but can't send them. Internet doesn't seem to work even with a sim card, but still a very slick and useful watch for the price. Thanks again for the instructions :)

Thank you so much for being a part of Watch N Gadget. I do know that I can make calls and receive calls and receive text and send texts using the BT notification app via Bluetooth to my phone. It gives you any problems don't hesitate to let me know.

I have just been informed that the BT notification out is not in the Play Store anymore which is news to me. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'm looking into this problem and we'll have it figured out shortly sorry for the inconvenience

@@DougQuarles2023 It's listed under United Power Blutetooth Notification. After downloading it's called "BT Notification" just like the one you showed, so maybe it's another version? SMS doesn't connect but I still get text notifications and can read the messages there. My friends with smart watches say they don't text from them anyway because the screen is small. The lack of internet may be on my SIM carrier's end, who knows. Loving this watch, however you gotta be tech-savy for the work-arounds. :)

it works with the Mediatek smart device app..Is there a way to make it work as a modem?

Liked the review. Any way to get rid of military time mode and just have the time 12hr standard?

Yes I sure will tell you how to use WhatsApp and Facebook. I've explained it in one of the videos I done about the watch. you might want to look back through to follow what I'm about to say. 1 go to Red Pocket and get a SIM card with data on it for like $20 a month prepaid 2 install the SIM card to you watch you will have to play around with this and be a little tech-savvy. I'm not for sure about the details.I havent done this yet myself besides looking in to it. you can always take the SIM card out of your phone and put it into the watch just a test this out before you buy another sim card with service on it. There is no way to how the functions you're talkin about WhatsApp and Facebook, to work without having service to the watch.

Hi Dough, i purchased x6 smartwatch recently but after connecting by bluetooth, whatsapp notification isn't showing. It is showing that i have whatsapp notification but can't able to read the whatsapp message. I am using Oneplus 6 mobile. I also tried with Xiomi Y3 but same result. Could you please help?

Yeah I had mine on silent mode with only vibration working. Going to phone call settings and see if it's there the option I mean

So if your not getting texts than go to the app settings and go through the steps of setting it up. Make sure all notification are turned on

No. Only about half the functions will work for iphones.

If you add a data plan to it, you will be able to browse the internet. It's not a very good way to watch KZread videos. But you can't put a data plan on it for $10 or if you have a SIM card in your phone and you've got AT&T or T-Mobile Etc, it will work

What it will tell you is that you have a notification from WhatsApp. Most of the time it will not let you read the message. Just will let you know that you have one. Go into the app you down loaded for the watch. In there you will have the option to select what apps you phone will push to your watch. Make sure WhatsApp is selected

what do you mean "idea" sim card? All smartwatches will only work on a GSM networtk. Like ATnT and T-Mobile

@@ayushnagotkar559 Yeah it a GSM. so it says . Make sure this is correct and yes it should. I haven't done it yet on mine. I have a sim card coming in the next week so i'm going to try it on all my watches so i can give better feed back
