@@HTMN161 The adamantium isn’t what stopped his healing. It was genetically modified corn that turned off mutants’ x genes. Rice explained that to him in the scene where Logan goes “He’s the asshole that put this poison in me” near the end

At least they did fight outside....gotta love Victor's asking about the dude having insurance.

The reason Schreiber's take on the character proved to be such a hit is because the "More Beast than Man" aspect of the character is played more subtly He absolutely passes as a normal man on the surface but you do _not_ want to be left alone with him

I’m just glad they took it outside

I realize this movie gets some grief, but the interactions and chemistry between Jackman and Schreiber make it worth seeing IMO.

They wanted to. Liev Schreiber was set to come back and make an appearance, but because he was filming something else, there was a conflict in the shooting schedule. As such, he wasn’t able to be in the film.

Despite of the bad CGI effects, bad script, to make matters worse destroy the X-men prequel, for unknown reasons this is my favorite wolverine film second is Logan and last is The Wolverine.

Idk the Wolverine was good and objectively better than Origins for sure but I had more entertainment value from the previous two. The Wolverine is not a bad film by any means though just my least favorite of the 3 as it just felt a bit distant maybe because of the setting and different unfamiliar characters.

I like how he calls victor at 0:31

Logan and Victor and Hulk appearing in Deadpool 3 would be a potential golden opportunity for The Wolverine's MCU debut

This was the best Wolverine movie hands down

0:31 is like equivalent of magneto saying “Charles”

Kind of like how Endgame and Far from Home worked out. I started watching the X-Men franchise again. I just finished watching The Wolverine. An amazing movie. My favorite part is when Jackman says "Go Fuck Yourself Prettyboy"

Victor was pretty cool about where he fought. He wanted to do as little as damage as he could for the owner, so he tossed logan back out the door. Pretty thoughtful right before a beat down.

Even though they bonded the metal to his skeleton, why didn't Stryker add a protectant to prevent the metal from poisoning his body so wolverine can live longer

The adamantium metal itself is severely toxic. Logan was chosen for the simple fact that his pain threshold is far greater than any mutants ever come across including Victor. The healing factor is what keeps him going. It's fighting the toxicity of the metal constantly. But there is one singular drawback, wolverine has said that despite the healing Factor he's constantly in chronic pain. Not just from the previous wounds of every battle he's ever fought, but the adamantium in his skeletal structure puts him in the state of chronic arthritis.

Always liked that part at the beginning between Victor & the bartender

In the comics sabertooth is much bigger than wolverine but in the movies he’s about the same size

Logan before adamantium was a very average mutant. He was probably one of those pawns that Magneto mentioned in Last Stand.

This is the best origin story of wolverine, how he first got his bone claws and turning his claws into animantium razor sharp claws and it's so sweet to see wolverine having his own movie.

When Stryker swears on his sons life but in X2 its revealed his son is a mutant and he really hated him for killing his wife by suicide then he admits literally 30 seconds later Victor swore vengeance on all them

1:27 you can hear Victor growling like a animal. He is more of an animal that Logan. Thats why he won this first fight. He hasn't been taming himself.

His real name isn't just Logan. it's James Howlett-Logan. Victor called him Jimmy since they were kids, brother's nickname. He changed it to Logan when he killed Thomas Logan killed his adoptive father. Tom was Wolverine's actual father and was the Howlett's groundskeeper when he and Wolverine's mother had an affair that turned into Logan.

I think Wolverine and sabertooth both have healing factor, but wolverine healing factor is more advanced

It’s a great scene, since Victor up until this point, was mostly a violent and sadistic killer, who killed everyone around him connected to “Team X” and its missions however, when it came to civilians who crossed paths with, he couldn’t be bothered with, even making small talk 😂

0:34 probably was catching his brothers scent again in ages
