@@mikeval1525 I inderstand the harness covering his wings while in civvies. Its when he's in costume and the wings are visible over whatever top he's wearing.

I've always thought that they've always did his wings wrong. When not in use they should hang over his shoulders like the Gargoyles back in the 90s.

I really think Angel has a lot of untapped potential , In DC comics they are not afraid of using Christian religious themes but in Marvel Comics I don't think the religious angel aspect that any sane person would compare Warren to would happen in the marvel universe . In real life though a man flying with angel like wings would have religious cult like vibe following him around.

@Jico In-universe, christians hunt mutants on a consistent basis. They will never see Warren as an actual angel.

When the MCU introduce the X-men, I hope Angel is part of team and give him a "Anakin journey" going from loyal member (1st film) to lose his wings and become Archangel (2nd film) and, in the end, have his moment of redemption (3rd film). I also hope they introduce Psylocke and explore her romance with Warren (allowing the X-men films to give the spotlight to other couples besides Scott, Jean and Logan love triangle).

Depends on which Psylocke it is. Betsy or Kwannon. Frankly, if we want to explore his descent, Candy Southern would probably the best of the love interests to use.

Plus he reminds me of the Valkyries from the GOD OF WAR video game franchise. Plus I love birds and he has interesting characteristics of birds of prey. AND I'm a sucker for winged humanoids

All of the original X-Men have tragic life stories, but I think Angel wins the prize for most tragic. Since you mentioned her in both of the last 2 videos, I think it's time that MOONDRAGON got her own video. And if you have time, RED NORVILLE still needs a video too. My introduction to Angel was in Marvel Fanfare#1. A two part story in the Savage Land team up with Spider-Man. Took me years to find issue#2, but seeing Angel put me back onto the Xmen and the rest is history! Thanks for another great video!

Everybody hates Apocalypse but it looks like he helped heal Angel.

Wasn't it Apocalypse who made Warren into Archangel not Mister Sinister?. And it wasn't his dad but his friend Cameron Hodge who had his wings removed. At least that was in the comics.

Then again, it makes sense. She’s the woman who loved Angel and he took advantage of it. He was literally trying to get with Dazzler whilst Candy was with him. But the issue where she comes back and takes Hodge down with her is one of my favourite comic issues. Makes me hope they one day bring her back.

I have always liked Angel and felt that he should have had better power set, like healing others, healing factor that rivals wolverine's, light manipulation, retractable wings, tall to animals, just to name a few

That's the reason why he was transform into Archangel in the first place, the editors thought that he was being left behind in terms of power and powerscaling so they transform him to give him new powers

When I started collecting when I was a kid, X-Factor just started. I fell in love with them and the X-Men. I got all the back issues, (back then) to the Phoenix Saga. Then Classic X-MEN came out, that was much cheaper. Anyway, the OG X-men have always been my favorite

Definitely a Fan of this one since I like angelic archetypes characters in general, I would say I kinda want to make his powers more convenient if ever, like maybe instead of like reverting between forms, just make him into a Four winged instead, one pair with normal looking wings, the other is a metal one but both possesses it's good qualities like the feathered is as strong as steel as the other and etc, and to also give him some form of Energy Manipulation and Healing Abilities, as well as able to hide them too!!

How long till you finish doing White Tiger: legacy of the Tiger by doing the history of Ava Ayala White Tiger? Can you do the history of Intelligencia in honour of the She-Hulk Disney Plus show?

Honestly, I’ve recently gotten back into X men with the Krakoa Era and the Cerebro podcast. So, if Angel is in a movie, you know what would be the best way to humanise him? Bringing Candy Southern in. Maybe even establish a new version of the defenders where she’s the leader.

There are so many years and x-men teams the MCU can choose from. I think going straight to the X-Men TAS/97 roster might not be the right move. If they start from the beginning they can do so many movies and it would allow for the cast changing after a few films without multiple actors playing the same character seeing as there are so many x-men line-ups. Starting from the beginning would also put a movie or 2 in between Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and the inevitable recasting of the character.
