Who else was introduced to Kang the Conqueror through the cartoon series "Avengers: Earths mightiest heroes"?

That show kicked so much ass. That said, I was confused why Kang's future was replaced with an apocalypse? I know the reason was Cap apparently screwing up during the Kree-Skrull War, and a solar storm decimated Earth. That said, wouldn't that imply Cap wasn't supposed to be found in the first place? Am I missing something?

​​@@johnnygyro2295he was replaced by a skrull at some point, so that might have something to do with it. Maybe Skrull Cap, trying to emulate the heroism of the real McCoy, chose to save T'Challa from falling into the sun, thus allowing the Kree to open their portal near the sun. Kang didn't know about the imposter, all he saw was Cap acting in character.

That's the best kang. If you started there then it's downhill from there. Only other good kang story is the og avengers forever comic.

15 minutes in and the epicness of Kang’s story is already through the roof; great video so far and onto the rest!

if Kevin Fiege and MCU studios. had made a special feature on Kang The Conqueror exploits in the comics Ant Man:Quantumania may have been better received with critics and audiences alike

Kang is so overpowered that he is on the scale of the Incarnation of the Love, Death, and Destiny. Kang has, will, and already conquered Time itself.

Wow, I’m not too familiar with Kang and easily got confused but this is the most well explained Kang video I’ve ever seen. So much more interesting details and ties to certain characters I had no idea about. Put the current MCU into prospective.

That was an epic travel through comic history. Splendidly presented. And I felt pride that Kang ended up conquering his destiny. My only questions are: What about the young Kang that Kang manipulated into becoming him, & How on Earth could the movie Kang hope to compare to this history? The comics have 60 years of stories to look at, but we don't have time for that kind of variety and depth in movies. I guess we'll see.

So a Kang is knocked into a timeless dimension and there realizes that there are variant timeliness repeatedly failing and causing destruction. This variant then successfully plots the downfall of the others and his future happens to be the sole ruler of the timeline (roughly speaking) So is the MCU taking this route? Is the exiled Kang who we think is dead really just somewhere else learning the truth and biding his time. Is his future He Who Remains? They both solely seem to be against the multiverse interacting while the other variants are fine with it.

Fabulous job on the Rama Tut portion (with all those tie in from FF, WCA, and Doctor Strange, etc)!

Well done sir, well done, just the basics of the character and his amazingly complex time line, makes this one of your better effort

What a great video. This guy is THE comic expert on KZread! I consider myself a comic expert and have read the vast majority of Marvel. But trying to make sense of Kang always makes my head hurt. Massive respect for doing this very difficult subject so well.

@@cody5404 Comics Explained makes a lot of mistakes. He especially misses a lot of context that makes it clear he only started reading Comics around the movie boom. He didn't even know who Gateway was on his Generation X video!- How does a Comics "expert" miss 4 years of essential X-men continuity? I've been reading all of Marvel since the beginning of the Marvel Age- so I can spot a fraud a mile off. Merry marvelite is the best on KZread right now.

@@tbunating1451 in his own words- Rob has been reading comics for about 25 years (the movie years). He also seems to be entirely digital. Ask him to do a room tour of his comic collection if you doubt that? Don't get me wrong- he has clearly done an incredible amount of research in those 25 years. But for somebody like me, who's obsessive collection goes back to the 60s, he simply has way too many mistakes, gaps of knowledge and crucially a complete lack of context for many of the things he discusses. Rob is more than good enough for new comic fans learning the basics- but this channel is better for obsessive types like me who already own and probably know everything IMO.

Great video. Avengers Forever did such a great job cleaning up all of Kang’s backstory, but in retrospect, I think they got rid of some things that other creators made interesting such as the TVA in the Loki tv series.

Fantastic video sir! This is the best breakdown and explanation of Kang's story from the comics I've heard! And there are some great content creators doing similar and cool stuff too in regards to this. If this video doesn't get you ready for Phase 5, Quantumania, Loki season 2, Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars in season and out of season, nothing will. You can't definitely see why Marvel Studios have made the creative choices for Kang so far in Loki season 1, Ant-Man: Quantumania, Loki season 2 and so forth. I'll be sharing this video with interesting parties for sure!

I’ll be honest I was very confused with Kang’s origins and struggled to get an understanding of who he is. I’ve seen a few “origin” videos and still couldn’t get it. Kang's story is amazing

I liked kang for a awhile but then it seemed like he turned into a giant game of being the ultimate one upper with super powers. Almost how there are some DC storyline where it turns into batman knowing the problem from the beginning and having the most ridiculous resolution to win the day.

My head canon is both Dr.Doom and Nathaniel Richards are both Khang’s ancestors since it’s entirely possible that one of both his parents are descendants the two or that the two bloodlines merged at some point in the past🤔 19:04
