Still hits like back in the 90s.

One of top five X-Men villains and top 3 Wolverine enemies

This has to be one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard in video games. It is just...so evocative.

I had X-men COTA back in the day for the saturn, and i never realized how great this theme was until i bought the game again decades later.

In Soviet Russia, that funk gets down on YOU

That FM bass sounds incredible blasting out of the cabinet.

I actually legit remember playing this in the arcade in 94/96 on the Sega Saturn. Before when I saw it at the arcade in a laundromat was the very first time I saw a secret character known as Akuma be selected. How time fly's by.

This game had such an awesome soundtrack, and this theme was the best of the lot. Omega Red was such a badass in this game, and this amazing theme just made him even more so!

Always loved this theme, it sounds good in MSH vs SF too but this version is better.

@@alexisfab2057 That one is good but to me it sounds too "indian" for Omega Red, it almost sounds like a theme Dhalsim should have had. (interestingly enough they are always paired up in that game). This one just fits Omega Red a lot more in my opinion.

In X-men Game = Omega Red In SF Alpha 2/3 = Rolento

This is a straight-up banger of a tune. Every track is great, but this has something more. It's iconic.

Omega Red was SUPREMELY cheap in this game, he was able to cancel his omega strikes, chain them into his regular moves and stun you in 3-4 moves.

His life depends on how much life force he absorbed from humans. He does this forever or the carbonadium will destroy his body. But still yah, he’s a psychotic super soldier. That’s why his theme sounds melancholic

This theme is so good that it was the only one from this game to make it in to another

I have noticed going Underwater themes have been the most best in fighting games Like Listen to Dr Doom's theme in MSH it is chill as hell

Damn, this sounds way better than the SFxXmen version.

"I live to destroy the weapon X" at first I thought Weapon X was some sort of chemical weapon, but it turns out that the Weapon X is James Howlett aka Logan aka Wolverine

Classic Marvel villains almost always have a backstory that makes them more realistic and relatable. And Capcom did their research to incorporate that spirit into the music every single time.
